Oasi Olimpia Relais is set in an ancient villa on the hills of the Sorrento Peninsula. Enjoy elegance, warm hospitality and a peaceful atmosphere. location is just perfect if you want to visit Sorrento and also Positano, Amalfi. Hotel is old but renovated, doesn’t feel like out of date, views were breathtaking. They have wonderful staff, ladies at the reception were super attentive and kind, answered all our questions, helped book restaurants and gave lots of recommendations about the places to visit and where to eat, booked tours and guided us to those that have reasonable prices. in the property they have animals like horses and donkeys, which was very interesting for our toddler. Hotel food was great, breakfast was excellent same as dinner with different menus, special days with authentic cuisine, pizza nights. And the room was beautiful and very clean, always fresh towels, room was cleaned twice a day. We just enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave at all. The check out was super smooth and easy, we had to leave early in the morning and they prepared us breakfast, with fresh fruits, coffee, so much food that we couldn’t even eat half of it.

If you want to escape the too many tourist of the Amalfi coast - try coming here. We were here in mid May and were a bit taken back from the crowds of people, the heavy traffic and the amount of "authentic" shops. On the other hand, Sant'Agata seemed quiet, cool, with less people and more locals. We had 2 lovely dinners here and loved the shops and the streets.
Our second time here and we’ll definitely be back. We stayed 5 nights which was the perfect amount of relaxation time by the fabulous pool. Last trip we did 3 evenings in Sorrento using the complimentary hotel bus (book this with reception in the morning/afternoon). This time we only did one night in Sorrento as Sant Agata, the gorgeous town where the hotel is based is so lovely and has fantastic restaurants. We had some of the best meals we’ve ever had in family owned restaurants near the hotel, Da Mimi, Bistrot Sessantasei and Il Fienile being particularly outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!
This is a great mountain village with a lovely small square and church dotted with coffee shops and great restaurants. It's a good base for exploring the Amalfi coast if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and believe me Sorrento is heaving in the summer. It's a slower and gentler pace in this place and if you stay long enough, the locals get to know you and are super friendly. The restaurants around the square are great for typical Italian food and after your meal you can sit on the square watching the world go by eating ice cream, drinking coffee or drinking wine. Shops are open late. Gelato shops are open til midnight. It's full of Italian families mingling with the tourists. When we were there in the summer, a local musician played 2 evenings a week and the locals came along to enjoy his music and dance- all ages from 3 years to 80+ years were dancing in the square. Catch buses to the Amalfi coast from here but in the height of summer you will need to go to Sorento to do this as the buses are full by the time they get to Saint Agata. Bus travel is cheap @ euros 4 return trip. Hire a car from saint agata as it is much cheaper than Naples airport. The local beach we used was Nerano and you can take a scenic bus there. Lovely restaurants some a bit pricey but there are places for every budget.
The hotel is a very nice, Italian style - a little bit old fashioned but quiet and situated in a lovely place. The breakfast was traditional but good, the staff extremely helpful and very kind. The only problem was the dinner - it was not at all “italian kitchen” which is famous all over the world. So after 3 trials we have been out for dinner, mainly in S. Agata, where you can find a lot of nice places to eat well. But nevertheless we recommend this hotel due to its location, pool and quietness. The shuttle was excellent and very useful!
Lovely place to base your amalfi coast stay. Well positioned with fabulous views and access to great walks, amenities and restaurants. Very friendly people and hosts. Loved it. Our second time here and will return.
pristine little apartment. would stay here forever if we could, terrace/balcony. views of gulf. hostess really delivers with cookies, crackers, toasts, water, jams, nutella, Nespresso coffee machine and several pods,...the list goes on. husband and I took the sofa bed in the living toom. unbelievably comfortable. and he has a bad back. the details in the apartment were cute as a button, felt brand new but nostalgic at the same time. the bathroom is huge, and again so well done and supplied with everything. charming charming charming charming charming !!!!!! and great restaurant within walking distance too. bus stop too. missy from USA
SantʼAgata sui Due Golfi
Antonio was the best host we have had in 30 years of travel. He met us at the private parking and took care of all the luggage while we had prosecco. His ability to organize trips to Pompei, Positano, and restaurants too far to walk was fantastic. However some of the best restaurants in Italy are within an easy walk. The unit had two full size bedrooms and two full size beds which is hard to find in Italy
Fabulous staff. My partner had a health issue which was dealt with by the the duty person on reception. He called a doctor for us. The doctor came to the hotel and sorted the problem so quickly. Unbelievable help and dealt with like it wasn’t any kind of problem. Made us feel really important and looked after. Thank you.
had a room overlooking Sorrento. amazing views! infinity pool was amazing. so relaxing after a day out or just having a chilled day around the pool. does not disappoint. the shuttle bus was fantastic. we used this several times! highly recommend this hotel. breakfast was great too. good choices offered daily.
The staff was amazing. Truly kind and helpful. We were sad to leave. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was very good and the views were amazing. The town was lovely and had great restaurants.
Exceptional people working at this hotel, they did the best to accomplish every need which we had during our stay. The view from the room was also amazing and the breakfast was good. Totally recommend.
