GreeceThe suite was excellent, very clean, large with a view to the main garden. The staff changed our towels daily and prepared a full breakfast buffet for all tastes. The location is also excellent as it's close to the Terme dei Papi (the hotel also offers a ferry service to and from the springs) and also very close to Viterbo. We used it as a base to explore the region for which it was perfectly located. We would definitely book again.

Viterbo is a small city but full of beautiful places, churches to visit. Full of history. Lovely people. The only downside is the transport. It is very difficult to get a taxi. If you have a luggage its difficult to wheeled it along the road/cobble. More signpost is needed for buses and possibly taxi lane.

An interesting town that is somewhat off the well-trodden tourist paths. This might actually be part of its attractiveness. Prices are quite reasonable. Let yourself wander through the Medieval City and enjoy good food and its special atmosphere.

Viterbo is a charming medieval town with impressive history and architecture. At the same time, the old center has a slightly sad feeling, as if it has seen better days. Since the pandemic, some areas appear quieter and less vibrant, creating a subtle atmosphere of decline beneath the city's beauty.

Viterbo is a very old historic city.
Viterbo is a very old historic city. It's not as well known to tourists as other places in Lazio, but it's worth visiting. It gives you access to other historic towns within driving distance. There are some very good restaurants in Viterbo.

This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion.
This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion. The history and art is extremely interesting and the ancient city is one you can get lost in, wandering down narrow charming streets, stumbling upon a palazzo from medieval times, or coming upon a breathtaking view. Viterbo is not a curated experience, such as Montalcino or Montepulciano. It is a bit gritty and caters to its community, not tourists. Its Etruscan and medieval era history and art is exceptional if limited. A great stopping off point if heading north from Rome. There are hot springs in the area which we didn't have time to experience.

I have visited Viterbo a number of times and love walking...
I have visited Viterbo a number of times and love walking around the historical centre. I use Viterbo as my base to visit towns and sites nearby as I don't drive, so it is very convenient and well serviced by Cotral bus services to the different places.

Great location on main street of Viterbo. The apartment had everthyng you could think of, and all new. Fridge partly stocked. Antonio showed us the apartment and pointed at all the extra coffee, towels, trashbags, cleaning mayerials, thee, chicolates, chips, wine, paper towels. Its completely filled just as your own place. Nice balcony with shade, but still to hot this week.

Gorgeous resort located out in the countryside. The people working at the hotel were exceptionally kind to us. We had booked double rooms which were probably the smallest rooms we had anywhere in Italy, but were perfectly comfortable. The pool is gorgeous, and the staff were kind enough to lend us bikes that we could use to ride to a terme that had a lunchtime restaurant.

Viterbo is a medieval town surrounded by its old wall , so a unique place
This B&B is in the old town just off the Main Street
About a 15 walk from the station
It’s in one of the old buildings and quite big inside , it is on the first floor

A spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment in the historic city centre, location perfect also if arriving by train at Viterbo Porta Romana. The warm welcome from the owner, who lives above, was very much appreciated.
