The staff were very pleasant and professional. The food was amazing. I have a very picky eater, and he enjoyed breakfast and dinner. This was to be a one day/night outside our vacation home for my then 9 y/o son on his spring break. We ended up spending 2 nights. He enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dinning. I have worked in hospatality for 15- 20 years in the UK so my comments might be a little sharp, the location is superb cannot fault it but the villa needs a little updating and a refresh which i would be happy to give them some ideas on this, i would keep the retro look which is as as not updated probably since the 60;s this is nice but the paintwork needs a refresh so the paint is fresh white, our headboard was white bamboo but was broken, when we arrived the A/C was not on but this was fine, the villa was clean but needed a bit of airing before arrival as had a musty smell, some light switches didnt work and fan lights, the curtains need changing to shutters or blinds or white nets. the bed was a little uncomfortable, I would have a hair dryer & iron & board in all the villas. The bathroom is lovely but bulbs were not working & needs just a refresh of paint but decor is fine shower was fantastic better than our shower at strawberry hill. I think the site has a great lot of potential and I would be happy to assist. however I would go back and friends also want to come back and i would be happy to recommend it with these changes. oh the food prices and menu should be in the rooms & villas with a break down of different currency as this seemed to change daily on what I was charged and if your not familiar with the currency you could get overcharged so I would make prices very clear for your guests. if the property wants more nfo happy for them to contact me for a full report. Staff were great very professional & hospitable

I love the parish of Portland and always enjoy being in Port Antonio. Decent, kind, welcoming people and the many attractions to visit and beaches to visit. I am just hoping they fix the roads sooner than later.
Lovely authentic town but not for the faint hearted travellers. You need to go with the flow and chat to the locals! The harbour area is pretty but the town is 'real', nothing touristy about it, which we love but it's not for everyone. The beaches nearby are amazing but the road to get to them is largely unmade which makes the journey very slow! Overtime you can see they are improving it but I can't imagine it will be done in 2023.
I enjoyed my stay in Port Antonio, I wish it was a bit longer but there is always a next time. I would recommend Port Antonio to my families and friends, the beaches are great not to mention Boston jerk stop, it was excellent 👍 lots of attractions and friendly people
Port Antonio is a beautiful country but beware of scammers. Their names are Teina Robinson and Jerome Hamilton. They put fake pictures of properties and ask you to transfer funds to them 2 days before arrival.
Port Antonio is a very quiet laid back town. Locals are friendly and willing to help. Make sure to sample the Boston jerk pork and jerk chicken. Fresh coconut water chopped from "A Jelly Coconut" is a must, it's so refreshing.
The drive from Kingston was horrendous and dangerous especially the ultra narrow 2way roads with about 200 plus hairpin curves then the million pot holes and crazy Route taxi drivers will either strengthen or defeat your belief in God.
