Everything!!!!! The staff The food The pool The room Omg!!! The views The grounds were clean and well kept. All the facilities, pool, dinning (in and outdoor) were clean. The staff were very pleasant and professional. The food was amazing. I have a very picky eater, and he enjoyed breakfast and dinner. This was to be a one day/night outside our vacation home for my then 9 y/o son on his spring break. We ended up spending 2 nights. He enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dinning. I enjoyed the scenery from the balcony and outdoor spots. I've recommended this hotel. I'll be back for sure.

Featuring a terrace, Frenchman's Cove Resort is located in Port Antonio in the Portland region, a few steps from Frenchman's Cove Beach and a 10-minute walk from San San Beach.

I have worked in hospatality for 15- 20 years in the UK so my comments might be a little sharp, the location is superb cannot fault it but the villa needs a little updating and a refresh which i would be happy to give them some ideas on this, i would keep the retro look which is as as not updated probably since the 60;s this is nice but the paintwork needs a refresh so the paint is fresh white, our headboard was white bamboo but was broken, when we arrived the A/C was not on but this was fine, the villa was clean but needed a bit of airing before arrival as had a musty smell, some light switches didnt work and fan lights, the curtains need changing to shutters or blinds or white nets. the bed was a little uncomfortable, I would have a hair dryer & iron & board in all the villas. The bathroom is lovely but bulbs were not working & needs just a refresh of paint but decor is fine shower was fantastic better than our shower at strawberry hill. I think the site has a great lot of potential and I would be happy to assist. however I would go back and friends also want to come back and i would be happy to recommend it with these changes. oh the food prices and menu should be in the rooms & villas with a break down of different currency as this seemed to change daily on what I was charged and if your not familiar with the currency you could get overcharged so I would make prices very clear for your guests. if the property wants more nfo happy for them to contact me for a full report. Staff were great very professional & hospitable

I booked a 6 night stay for my brother and his newlywed wife. They showed up and had viewed the room they were supposed to stay in. They were unhappy because the hotel could not accommodate her disabilty. The property owner told them they could leave and seek accommodations elsewhere and to rerurn to the property as he could offer some accommodations in the ground floor. He then charged my card because he stated they did not return to his property.

The bed is really comfortable and the view is incredible. The place is in a great location, easily walkable to the beach and lots of good restaurants and bars but far enough down the road that it's peaceful when that's what you want. The hosts were friendly and helpful, they put me on to a lot of experiences and places I wouldn't have seen otherwise.
