Stayed 2 nights. One of our most memorable stays in Japan.The old farmhouse was wonderful. Our hosts were absolutely delightful. They cooked breakfast and even dropped us off then picked us up from the local onsen at night. If you take the local train from Ilyama station to get there it's slow but great scenery.

A lovely family run inn in a small, quiet, calm and beautiful snowy village. Super friendly staff, super clean and comfortable and a lovely traditional Japanese experience. There was so much love in all the beautiful handmade items like placemats and chopstick holders.

The whole apartment is a cozy place. Very clean and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner provided was also very delicious. We also joined the snowshoe tour and it was very fun. Totally enjoyed it.

Lovely rooms and great onsen. Breakfast was excellent and you had your own private dining area

Location was convenient to the nearby ski slopes and snow play area. Shuttle bus pick up from echigo station was convenient. Breakfast selection was very good, my favourite part is the onsen of the hotel. There are two different location for onsen, loved the outdoor onsen.

It's walking distance from the slopes. Even though they weren't well versed in English, the staff were very helpful. The heater works well in the room.
