It is a few minutes away from Kanazawa station and is located across Omicho market. The interiors and staff were absolutely wonderful. I appreciate the design that was put in this place. The amenities were new and clean. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Kanazawa. It added another layer of spa- like experience when we went here. The staff were also so kind and nice. They welcome you with such a warm smile and will give you a welcome treat for staying.

Way exceeded my expectations for a Courtyard Marriott, it looked like a JW Marriott. Even the bathroom fixtures were high quality, grohe & hansgrohe. There was a Nespresso machine in the room. A friend who lives in the area said the Toyota execs stay here, which I can believe. Short taxi ride to Nagoya station, which we highly appreciated on the return trip. (We initially took public transportation to the hotel which was a mistake given the paucity of escalators in the local stations.)

Awesome hotel, big room, great shower + bath tub and fantastic helpful staff! Located 5min by foot to the Omicho market. Plus they serve free ramen every night, yumm! It definitely was our best experience in Japan! Also you get gifts arriving and leaving.

The outside facade of this place is magnificent plenty of parking outside. Grand entrance a cool souvenir shop to the right open till 10pm and a lounge dinning area to the left with a happy hour and really nice staff and a pretty water wall view outside the lounge dinning area. We chose a Japanese style room and it has been the biggest room we've stayed in in Japan it was really fun staying there with all the sliders playing around with the lighting, you get futons and a ground level table and chairs , free ice is available, I never tried the hotpools unfortunately ran out of time but the hotel also supplies good free magazines of things to do in takayama and hida area has been the best part of my Japan trip.

It was a long drive up the Noto Peninsula and we had to drive along a narrow road through a short stretch of forest before we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful facade of the hotel. The entire stay was a pampering experience. The view from the room was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared and served in private rooms. We had a 50 min private bath which was extremely soothing. There were small zen gardens, libraries in a corner, and cupboards full of yukatas of different colors and designs. These were very pleasant to the eyes. I also liked how courteous and attentive the hotel staff were.

Its was really big, the Onsen was amazing. Our room was a japanese-style one and it was super cool, big and comfy. There are so many useful amenities as well in the room and the Onsen. The souvenir store is super big, you can get everything. The location was super nice as well, we walked to the Open Air Museum which is beautiful. The city center was also very close by. The breakfast buffet was incredible.

It’s clean, very well equipped with heater, cooking utensils. The owners are so nice and friendly. Language may be a barrier but they tried really hard to accommodate all our needs. The place is slightly secluded which is perfect for quiet vacation but you can still go to town centre by just taking 1 train to Karuizawa station and the owners are nice enough to drop and pick you!

Nagoya doesn't get a lot of love from foreign visitors when compared to the more "popular" cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, or Osaka, but there are a lot of sights to see, interesting museums, and delicious restaurants. Give it a try!

Kanazawa is a gem!

Kanazawa is a gem! You have ancient streets with traditional streets that still feeling authentic and not too touristy. Lots of interesting museums (some are small, but full of history), a beautiful garden (probably the best in Japan) and fair restaurants prices. Skip Kyoto and come here!

There are not major temples or castles here, so no major tourist attractions, which makes it wonderfully calm...the old town, with the river passing by is charming...i like the calm and peace...and the people very friendly

Fujikawaguchiko was the biggest disappointment of our Japan...

Fujikawaguchiko was the biggest disappointment of our Japan trip. While the views of Mt. Fuji can be beautiful on a clear day, we found the area very inconvenient without a car. Most attractions were spread far apart and not easily reachable by public transportation. Uber and taxis were available but quite expensive. We were also surprised by how little there was to do around the lake itself. After a short walk and taking in the scenery, we found ourselves struggling to find activities that justified staying for several days. Compared to other destinations in Japan, the area felt isolated and difficult to explore. Another surprise was the condition of many of the public restrooms. They were dirty and had a very unpleasant odor, which was highly unusual compared to the exceptionally clean facilities we encountered throughout the rest of Japan. It was disappointing and did not match the high standards we had come to expect during our travels. If you plan to visit, I would strongly recommend renting a car or considering it as a day trip rather than a longer stay.

We stayed in Niigata for nice two weeks and had a very comfortable visit. Next time we will include Sado Island but want to stay overnight there for several days. The bus and train system was very easy to take daily side trips all over. The huge Kyowa Car and Life Museum at Tsubame Sanjo was an unbelievable hidden gem!

Matsumoto is a smaller city and perfect location for first time visitors to Japan who want to experience the beauty of the Japanese mountains. Hiking areas can be reached quickly by the local train. There are less tourists in this area so it is a good place to immerse yourself in Japanese culture.

A really nice city with spectacular mountain views...

A really nice city with spectacular mountain views surrounding it. Excellent public transport so easy to get out and about and see some of the other places in the local vicinity. There were some lovely bars and restaurants so I'd highly recommend exploring and finding the hidden gems that are there. If you are in Nagano you must try Oyaki which is a local food only found in Nagano province. I still miss it every day.

We had a fantastic time in Fujiyoshida.

We had a fantastic time in Fujiyoshida. The views were absolutely stunning, and we really wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the area. One of the reasons we visited was to take our children to Fuji-Q Highland, as they were excited to ride the famous roller coasters. Unfortunately, the queues were extremely long—not only for buying tickets but also for the rides themselves. As we were on a tight schedule, we couldn't wait long enough and had to leave without experiencing the roller coasters. Despite that disappointment, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The scenery was beautiful, and we'd love to return in the future with more time to explore and, hopefully, finally enjoy Fuji-Q Highland.

Wonderful stay at Owara View Hotel!

Wonderful stay at Owara View Hotel! All the staff and the owner were very kind, helpful, and professional. The hotel management was excellent, and everything was well organized. The breakfast was very delicious with good variety. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the area. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
