The property's design and aesthetics was really pleasing - rooms are located on the ground floor (comfortable enough for 6 adults and even a child since there was a folded-up baby crib in one of the rooms) while the communal areas on the second floor were spacious. There is an outdoor jacuzzi and BBQ area (we did not get to use them). The place was very well-kept and clean (albeit the occasional spiders from the wilderness).

Offering a private beach area, 7 restaurants, and indoor and outdoor pools, Okuma Private Beach & Resort is just 150 metres from Okuma Beach.

比地の宿 is way beyond our imagination. Hiro is a hospitable person who makes us feel welcome very much. We had a really wonderful time while staying there. The house itself basically is an art, Hiro even collects some unique tablewares from local artist, all of them are so sophisticated and you'll definitely want to have one or two in your home. Plus there's a largest bathtub that I've ever seen in Japan, which means you would have a pleasant bathing time. The orange tree in the front yard is such a WOW thing that makes you want to stay outside longer. The location is easy to find, and quite convenient to connect to north part. About 2 mins driving you can get to the Family mart, or you can also walk there when you want to roam around the area. Very chilling, very cozy, full of calmness, we wish we could have stay longer. :)

This place is absolutely amazing. The setting in the forest is so magical, it was raining but that added to the magic, with the sounds of the rain and the birds. We had such a relaxing stay and Hisae was a wonderful host. There was so much attention to detail with welcome drinks in the fridge, local snacks in the room and fresh roses everywhere. Hisae cooked us a really delicious dinner which we ordered in advance and breakfast was incredible too, so much food, so many different flavours and a lovely selection of teas. Hisae was a great guide for the local area. We really recommend this place if you’re looking for a really special and relaxing time.

This property was exceptionally clean, everything you needed was there. It was beautifully furnished in traditional Japanese style. We absolutely loved this place and felt so comfortable. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Felt like our little home.
