We stayed in the hotel during Fuji Rock Festival. It’s a basic hotel. It’s neat and tidy. It’s a perfect location if you wanna attend the festival.

GREAT accomodation : 7 min walking to ski resort You can enjoy your own appartement fully equipped 2 bedrooms (with good beds) 2 bathrooms One big couch A large table If you prefer not to dine in your room, there is a dining room at the 2nd floor. Decent space to drop your ski gears A changing room. The staff is super helpful and tries to arrange things the best he can. The diner was delicious.

Great location it’s basically the closest guest house style hotel to the lifts. Short walk over the bridge each morning is worth it for the cost savings from the prince. Gear hire is so cheap roughly a third of the resort shop and decent quality

Exceptional. The service was excellent, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to the resort while being slightly set back and away from the crowds. In addition, we had a beautiful view of the resort from our room. Once again, thank you to our hosts and the staff, we can’t wait to come back.

100 years old part of hotel is very characterful. The additions have made it quite a maze and it was fun finding the different 5 hot baths The outside rock garden hot spring nestled in the forest was the highlight and very enjoyable listening to the birds and watching the red leaves fall in the light breeze. I went to these baths in the evening and morning they were so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel and the family that runs it are lovely, most welcoming and made our stay a very memorable one! Food was delicious and the room was very comfortable.

We enjoyed a relaxing night at ShimaBlue. We are a family of four with two teenage children and whilst it was tight, we enjoyed some relaxing time in nature. The ONSEN on the deck was the highlight. There is not much to do In the small town so this is a great place if you need a rest! The BBQ dinner was amazing (note you do cook for yourself).

The atmosphere is nice. the staff are very accommodating and friendly too. the amenities are also good as they have a complete kitchen along with nice relaxing spaces. the fiid was great!

Unforgettable view with private onsen

I like the room I got during the visit. It's a ski view. This is the second time that I have had this room type with a magnificent view. The hotel facilitiesTh are excellent and reasonably priced. I also like the Ski rental shop, laundry machine, onsen, and restaurant in the hotel area.
