Our one-night stay at 遊び庭-富士 was truly excellent. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and gave us the authentic Japanese atmosphere we were looking for. It’s a single-story home, which was ideal for our group, especially with elderly guests—everything was easily accessible and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were very comfortable, and the space was well-equipped, especially with toiletries and cooking utensils—everything we needed was already prepared. The location was quiet yet convenient, making it easy to explore and relax. We were also very impressed by the staff’s responsiveness—they were helpful, kind, and quick to reply whenever we had questions. Their support made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, well-prepared stay with genuine Japanese charm.

Great location, a bit farther away from the crowded Kawaguchiko, near beautiful lake. Spacious room, VERY comfy bed and pillows. You can book a private onsen or use public one - it’s not busy and tattoos are okay. The hotel is 30 min walk from the station, they also provide a shuttle from and to the station. Amazing view of the Mt Fuji from rooms as well as onsen and rooftop bar. Would definitely recommend and stay again myself!

Really nice accomodation! We stayed in a private room with 2 single beds as a last minute accommodation change and it was spacious enough for us and our belongings. It was very clean and doors required pin codes which i found handy and less stressful in terms of losing or misplacing keys. Very close to the bus station as well and our room had a view of Mt Fuji on the window!
