Incredible traditional house, it was like a dream, a jump in time. A bit cold in winter but the (big) room was warm, extra soft blanket, comfortable futon. Just like in the pictures.

The location was excellent. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were great, very friendly, and during check in, we were provided with a thorough explanation of places to go within Kanazawa. Excellent front office service.
