The hotel is easy to locate. Room is big and comfortable for our family of 4. It is clean and well equipped. Good value for money. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was sufficient and satisfactory, not to mention delicious.

Superb service from the staff, especially Ms Yen and Ms Chabani Gopali and the chefs who made us two delicious dinners/breakfast the two nights we were there. Good onsen baths and good fun in the "walking" onsen and outdoor warm pools. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. A big thank you for a very relaxing stay.

If you like and are interested in quiet, rural, places and...

If you like and are interested in quiet, rural, places and living with your host to immerse yourself into the way of living in the area - it is an ideal location. Area is best explored with a car. Taketa, larger town in area, has a nice public onsen; excellent hiking on Mt Aso San and Mt Kuju. Good roads, many onsen in the surrounding area and other sightseeing spots like waterfalls, shrines and caves are close by to explore.
