I enjoyed my stay: the whole staff was very polite and friendly and the location was quite convenient - close to the station and within walking distance of the sights I wanted to see. The breakfast was simple (two hand-made rice balls, a boiled egg, some pickled vegetables and tea), but enough to start the day. Speaking a bit of Japanese helped me a lot, so it was easier to ask questions about the hostel rules and have conversations with the staff.
