The place was impeccably clean. Felt brand new, had great bedding (we reminisced over it at the other places we stayed), really everything was top notch. There was a great place to store your ski gear, let your ski wear dry, the kitchen facility had everything you'd need, the showers were great (had soap etc; an area to blow dry your hair). There was also a laundry room, but you had to pay for it. It was really remote in a very romantic you're alone in a winter wonderland way. You are really close to the ski hill and even closer to the shuttle bus stop.

The host is extremely helpful and friendly. She helped us to send ski gears to the airport thru Yamato and gave us a lift to nearby bus stop. She’s very passionate and care about our stay experience. The stay also has a mini onsen for relax after the ski day.

Literally able to walk outside the door and get onto the ski lifts. Location could not be any better. Staff were also very friendly, complimentary breakfast was great, and they were very kind to let us store our bags there for the day after we checked out in the morning. Room and bathroom were clean and heater worked well. The room was also quite spacious even with the futon beds fully setup.

Delicious Japanese breakfast served every morning, discounted rental rates for skis/snowboards just next door. Convenience store just located across the road. Very close to the slopes. Public onsen available as well!

Room was fabulous- clean, spacious, cozy. Gentleman at the front helped with all my questions Was my first experience with onsen, all instructions listed in English. Had a selection of different shampoo/conditioners to use. Location was easy to find, close to the bus station and ski hill

Although it isn’t very new, it’s extremely clean and tidy. You can really feel the care and effort put into running it. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay at Momiji - everything was perfect and lived up to the reviews! Staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

'The palace' as we called it was amazing! The vintage decor transported us to a different era of elegance. The room was spacious and warm with an area to live as well as sleep. The onsen was amazing. Ski in ski out too. Other activities such as hot pot lunch in an igloo was a bonus.

The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast and Dinners were amazing. The traditional Japanese accomodation and food were perfect for me. Great facilities to store and dry your ski equipment on site. They even have clown fish in an aquarium in the lobby!

What a great place to stay, everything you need and ski on ski off to some great resorts, Doris, Rio and Ichiro go above and beyond to make you comfortable and help in any way they can. Very social setup with heaps to do in the lounge if you're not skiing, thanks we'll be back

Amazing stay! The Ski Inn Hakuba is the perfect place to stay on Tsugaike. We had five people in a twin room and it had ample space for the futon bed in the second bedroom. Staff were great and the coffee is the best in Hakuba. Location is perfect half way up the beginner slope.

Stunning Alpine location, close to everything, with mountains right at your doorstep. A perfect base for exploring. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped Kitchen and laundry facilities, which were very helpful.

UNPLAN Residence is the perfect ski/snowboard location in Hakuba area (Tsugaike Resort). The residence has only just been renovated, we had the mountain view suite which was perfect for 4 of us. 40 steps from the front door to the first lift and another 20 meters to another 2.

The hotel is new and very clean and warm:) Breakfast included was great before skiing.
