This is a fun place to stay for a stopover in Embu County or as a weekend getaway if you live locally. The restaurant is fun and lovely at weekends with music and or sports on TV. The menu is extensive and good, with huge portions of food! The staff is super friendly, we were lucky to meet the owner who owns a safari company in Botswana and is a good naturalist. There are hiking trails, and they are being extended. The tents are fine and comfortable enough, albeit a bit close together so not so much privacy. The gardnes are nice, and they gave me a bonfire as I sat out at dinner, as it was the chilly season. It rained a lot at night, and I can assure you the tents stay super dry inside. There is an electric gadget on the shower, so you can get immediate hot water for a nice, hot shower in the cold season.

The apartment exceeded my expectations. It was clean, stylish, and clearly well cared for, with a lot of attention to comfort and convenience. The location was perfect for me as it was within earshot from Embu town where I had business to attend to. The fast Wi-Fi facilitated effortless remote working. The host was warm and committed to ensuring a good experience. Definitely earns a repeat visit from me whenever I will be in Embu.

The house was well furnished and clean. It was surrounded by a lush garden! There were nice touches such as the bathrobe and balcony. There was a caretaker on location who could do chores for an extra price.

I've spent almost 3 months in Kenya and it was one of my favourite accommodations. The place is clean and comfortable. There are a lot of food places nearby. Some of them are totally local, offering extremely good food for very little money. But for people who prefer more fancy places there's 24/7 bar and restaurant just a few minutes away. There are also convenient shops around - one of them just next to the entrance. There you can buy anything (except meat) if you prefer to cook for yourself. The place is also washing friendly 🙃. You can find a lot to do in the vicinity. There are few waterfalls where you can enjoy the nature and swim in the river. Also you can visit the tea and coffee farms around.. But the main plus is the wonderful host Ruth. She was always in touch, answering any requests in just a few minutes. When the internet provider was fixing the network and there was no WIFI for a while she even offered to buy me some mobile data. Ruth definitely made our stay really special and I have no words to thank her enough ❤️.
