The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from the airport. With some assistance, I found the hotel rep at the airport. It was not difficult. Staff at the hotel were friendly. I liked the room: modern, clean and very comfortable. Good storage/wi-fi/shower. Good breakfast. Pity not to have longer to enjoy the facilities!

Just be prepared for city centre whch at times is chaotic in terms of people and vehicular traffic. Keep your mobile phones safe as we were led to believe they are targetted by pickpockets. That said we followed this advice and suffered no losses.
Otherwise we found the local people to be very friendly.

Nairobi is a city with many faces.
Nairobi is a city with many faces. You can see amazing sights, eat amazing food, stay at amazing hotels, go on safari, visit coffee tea etc plantations, relax, get pampered, or experience 'the real Africa'. I like to stay in boutique hotels that often provide an oasis of calm in the huge bustling city. Nairobi has or is the doorstep to it all.
The traffic can be very bad. I prefer to hire a car and driver
I often visit the informal settlements with local friends, and so a car with high clearance is advisable.
Must do:
-go to one of the Maasai markets (during their performances) beautifully made arts and souvenirs etc.
-visit the national park (the largest/only national park within a city limit)
- giraffe center
-Sheldrake elephant orphanage
- visit a coffee plantation. Fairview estates is my favorite.
- go to Keren Blixen museum etc (if you are an 'Out of Africa' fan)
- do to lake Naivasha (stopping at a view point of the great rim valley) if you are a fan of 'Born Free and Elsa the Lion. Elsamere
-go to Kazuri Beads or Kobe Tough beads to see how these beautiful hand crafted beads are made. Kazuri beads is the original. A group of the women split off when their large compound (where they hand made the beads) was closed. These women formed Kobe Tough Beads.
- I prefer to go to smaller, local shopping centers like Yaya or Junction etc to shop ..... but I prefer the real experience.
- there are tons more things to do.
Enjoy

However, i couldn't see the city during the night due to advice from some one. I have been informed that the security during the night is not good.

Parks, wildlife and animals are amazing.
Parks, wildlife and animals are amazing. Excellent dining & wining including fine breweries and many good beer brands. Very kind local people indeed. National Park Safari and Giraffe Centre is a must-see and a great experience. Too much security everywhere. Get ready to be searched whereever you enter.

It’s worth visiting Karen Blixens museum and Oloolua nature reserve at Karen. Kazuri, the Bead and Pottery shop is a fantastic place to visit. It helps teach single mothers new skills so they can become independent. The jewellery is unique and classy. Nairobi NP is also a great visit with a large variety of animals except the elephants. Use Ubers to get around. They are cheap.

The hotel is not far from the Nairobi international airport and very close to the Nairobi National Park, the Bomas of Kenya, the Giraffe orphanage, the Elephant orphanage, the city center, the National Museum, and other places worth to visit. I chose it since it was close to my place of work and was pleasantly surprised by all other places I could easily visit. The personnel was perfect - professional, friendly, supportive. One more thing - the coffee was delicious!
Best Western Plus Westlands has wonderful facilities that are modern and clean. The staff is very kind and attentive. The breakfast and room service are high quality. Plus, there is a small but well-equipped gym that I enjoyed using. I feel at home and it is my favorite place to stay in Nairobi so far.
The location is right in the centre of Westlands and very close to good bars and restaurants. There is one below the hotel which is a karaoke bar and very loud but fun to join in and a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. You get what you pay for so for a cheap one night stop it is okay.
Argyle grand hotel in Nairobi has the best when to airport accessibility with free pick up and drop at airport. The city's amenities are easy accessible. The garden view is amazing also heated swimming too..
