Palm Garden Boutique Hotel, hotel in Watamu

Set in Watamu, 1.1 km from Garoda Beach, Palm Garden Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Amazing hotel, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Just beautiful, like in the pictures. Decorated with an eye for detail and aesthetic. Dinner exceeded our expectations, was extraordinary. Also the setting of the dinner was super nice and romantic, we really enjoyed just staying in the hotel and having dinner there. Manny, the owner of the hotel, also puts effort into having a chat with his guests, which we really appreciated and just made the whole experience more personal. Location was ideal for us as kitesurfers, not far from Geroda beach.

Interesting town, much to see, like the TAAF Snake Farm, where I was for a course, the Gede ruins and much more. Good infrastructure, which is not in all coastal towns in Kenya the case. The beach in front of Papa Remo is alone worth going there!

Watamu is beautiful , but unfortunately too touristical for me. Heavily overpriced for Kenya. People who like bust tourist spots will like it though... traditionally many Italians, if you want to avoid those, Watamu is also not your choice

Watamu has lovely people, tourists are so safe its unreal.

Watamu has lovely people, tourists are so safe its unreal. Large Italian population and visitors, so most hotels and resteuraunts are italian owned. Best place to eat and the most jawdropping view is from Ocean Sports.

Watamu as such is lovely with a few good public beaches.

Watamu as such is lovely with a few good public beaches. Restaurants are galore and most really good, although mostly expensive. Among the coastal towns I visited in Kenya and Tanzania, I have come back to Watamu most often. The water is crystal clear, the beach white and not overrun, and the area offers enough activities to not get boring.

Great central location within a walking distance to a the best watamu beach, restaurants and shops. The pool area was especially convenient as well as a beautiful garden that the hotel is surrounded with. Bui, Jay, Joseph and all the other members of the staff were great and always helpful. Owners are very lovely and kind. Great breakfast was served for us and we also really enjoyed the top terrace. We extended our stay and stayed for over 20 nights, which speaks for itself that we enjoyed Marijani resort.

We really enjoyed the stay at this hidden boutique hotel. It had a relaxing environment where everyone is welcoming, calm and friendly. There is a boat that can bring you within 10 to 15 minutes to Lichthaus which is a nice and vibrant place. From Lichthaus it is another 15 minutes by taxi to down town Watamu. However we really enjoyed staying back at The Mida Creek, there are a lot of different nooks to sit and lay down which is lovely.

The location is for me the best in the world! The staff were all brilliant, new rooms well done, fitting in to the surroundings. Been visiting for 50 years and great to see that although adapting to changing times the atmosphere of the place has not changed....no nonsense about dress codes etc. Just good traditional Kenyan hospitality
