It is a hotel that holds all the wonders of Africa in the past but has all the creature comforts of the present. You could wonder around the grounds all day and be fascinated by the art. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they seem to be very happy working there. The owner is always hands-on and they seem to be one happy family, which rubs off on their kindness to their guests. Great location right on the beach with security to fend off the usual beach boys selling their wares. Special thanks to Gimmy, the head waiter/ bar man. Beautiful and lush garden was a pleasure to wake up to with a sprawling patio overlooking the pool. Comfortable large bed and a spacious clean room. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit accompaniments and good options for mains. The guide book was helpful with numbers for transport and recommendations for places to see and eateries. The staff were friendly and welcoming, there was snack service, laundry and helpful guards.
