We were on our honeymoon, and the management made sure that it was a memorable one. It was an amazing beach house/hotel in one of the most beautiful places. The staff were very helpful, and the chef made treated us with some surprises. Oh, certainly try the massages too.

Such a hospitality of the villa owners! They made us feel like home. The room was very clean. We got everything we needed to stay 11 nights. Great shower and comfortable bed. Lovely terrace to spend evenings. Having a fridge was also a huge plus. It was lovely hearing singing birds in the garden and watching wildlife. I miss our mornings having lovely breakfasts in the terrace!

An amazing homestay with the nicest people! The room is comfortable very clean, there is AC and even a washing machine. You'll have a great outdoor sitting area and a garden to sunbath in. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning. Two beautiful small and quiet beaches are literally a minutes walk away. The neighborhood is quiet, but you can easily get a tuktuk to take you around cheaply. A nice supermarket is a 5min walk away on the main road.

The view was amazing.. Beach was nearly all to ourselves.. Very quiet and secluded. Owner, Dinesh was very nice and cooked us an amazing fish- do not hesitate! Beds are new and the best I've slept on in Sri Lanka - kitchen was complete and functional.

if you are some one who wants to enjoy sea views with modern day comforts - look no further , I am very wildly travel and for me I have not found any such place to enjoy sea views , relax and be to myself . staff here is very lovely , special shout out Prabhu who did his best to give us vegetarian food , perfect place for me time and unwinding

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery.

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery. Most meals were eaten at the Hotel. Very easy to get around. There is a tour agency opposite the hotel entrance, it cant get any better than that. It is easy to take tuk tuk or van taxis. Superior beach front view. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Well done to the management and staff for this top class facility. Local fishermen were easy to approach and social chat with.

Ahungalla is a little village, hence to see places around...

Ahungalla is a little village, hence to see places around you need bus or tuk tuk services, they run on main road all the time. We loved Bentota - a resort 20 min on a bus - it had calm beach and cafes to eat/drink around. Just outside Bentota there is village where you can get good shopping for clothes, gifts etc. Galle is 50min drive on a bus from Ahungalla. It's a lovely historic place to visit. We liked Ahungalla as it's less busy/noisy than other towns, and the villa we stayed was 5min walk to the beach. There is a good supermarket for basic items.

The room was nice,Clean and included a balcony with a stunning sea view, which made my mornings extra special. The hotel’s location was also a big plus since it was close to town, making it easy to explore. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options, and I appreciated the friendly staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. We rate our stay at this hotel very positively; a 10 out of 10. This is a family-run hotel run by a young, energetic man who sees nothing as impossible. He has a car, which our group of six traveled to all the places we wanted to visit at a reasonable price. The hotel's location is very good. The food is excellent. Breakfast is included in the price, and other meals can be ordered even a few hours in advance. The hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful. It was a shame to leave. We highly recommend this hotel.
