We had a wonderful stay at this lovely wooden cottage in Ella. The views were absolutely stunning, with the sound of the natural river adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. A perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Highly recommended!

Our host was so lovely and helpful. He organised lifts for us and tour to tea plantation. The breakfast was fresh and served to us every morning. The room was very clean. The views from the property are stunning. The pool area is gorgeous. A great stay. Nice walk down the hill to ella and a tuktuk back each night. We paid 500 to get us up the hill which is well worth it.

Two things I want to mention first: The very friendly host that assists you with all kind off stuff and organized a lot of transports even in other cities for us. And the beautiful small room with the best view in Ella. After 3 minutes you are on the nine arches bridge. But its nice to see the sun rise over it while having a good breakfast on your balcony. I really can recommend this place. Our host further drove us to several places for free.

Obey was a great host! His breakfast was outstanding, we had one western then one Sri Lankan, he went over and above for me and my family! Rooms were lovely, he even did some of our laundry and got stains out of our white clothing !

Everything was perfect. Personel was fantastic, very helpful and kind and polite. Generally people from Sri Lanka are great people. Rooms are amazing. The hotel is totally in the city center; around a lot of restaurants and shops. We arrived very late but personel was waiting for us with the dinner; they were just amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. Next time for sure I will choose the same hotel !!!

We loved this property so much! Really comfy big bed, the bedding was clean and fresh. The views from this place are what sold it for it but we booked based on its lovely reviews… the breakfast is delicious. All home made Sri Lankan food and it’s brought to the balcony where you can enjoy the view and listen to the wildlife. The father and son running this place do such a lovely job at making you feel welcome and at home. It’s also a shorter walk to Ella rock trail head from here too which is a bonus. It’s a short tuk tuk ride out of the town centre but we were happy to walk in and get tuk tuks back up as it’s a steep windy road… It’s so worth it for the view, lovely hosts and breakfast !

We loved everything. Dewan, our butler, was super kind, gave us good tips what things to do with the time we had, talked with us, pick us up every time we needed, took us in a morning walk nature to see the sunrise on a top of a mountain and super helpfull all the time. All the staff was really kind, food is really tasty, the hotel is amazing and super confy and the view is insane. Our room was perfect. We travel a lot around the world and this hotel is one of our favorit ever. Recommend 100%. Hope to come back one day again.
