ItalyAki Villa is simply perfect! The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is fresh, delicious and beautifully cooked. The swimming pool, garden and common areas are all perfectly maintained, tidy and spotless, and the rooms are just as clean and comfortable.
We truly felt at home here!
It’s only a few minutes away from Kalkudah Beach, which is completely deserted and has a unique, untouched beauty, and just a short tuk-tuk ride from Pasikuda.
Highly recommended! We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back!

New ZealandAmazingly clean large modern hotel. A real quite peaceful spot. Dinner and breakfast were offered as its 2km to town and 2 km to the beach. A luxury feel resort without the huge price. Big pool, white fluffy towels, enormous bed. The assistant manger was always around to help. Great oasis on a travellers list.

The beach is lovely and great for relaxing and swimming.
The beach is lovely and great for relaxing and swimming. It is a safe beach for children and people who are not great swimmers as it is calm when we visited in August.
The only thing that I was not keen on was it was difficult to find any shops nearby if you wanted to purchase drinks or snacks. We also did not find any restaurants on the beach - all seem to be in the back blocks. It is a very quiet area which would suit many people, however, if you are looking for a party time at night forget it.

The beach and water are both exceptionally clean and pleasant. I enjoyed daily, multiple walks along the beach and swimming in the ocean.
Since I was there to relax, I stayed and ate at the hotel.

Overall, it was a great experience.
Overall, it was a great experience. We found that the buffet items for dinner were repeated over the 3 days. Try to vary the dishes.
We had to be after the housekeeping staff to get our room cleaned and get fresh linen. That was a bit disappointing.

The staff at the hotel & the local people you can meet by taking a short tuk-tuk ride from the hotel are super friendly, very welcoming & appreciative of visiting their country..

Pasikuda Beach is a beautiful and relaxing beach with calm, shallow waters that are great for swimming. You can walk several meters into the sea and the water still remains around neck level, which makes it a unique and enjoyable experience. The scenery is peaceful and perfect for a laid-back getaway, although the public beach can get crowded at times and cleanliness may vary. Overall, it’s still a lovely place to visit and enjoy the sea.

Apart from the beach there is nothing much in walking...
Apart from the beach there is nothing much in walking distance though we did go for dinner at Bayceylons which was very close and good. Hotel excursions expensive but there’s a local company that do fishing and snorkelling trips at a good price.
