Wonderful views of the lake, forest and birds. Nice sauna. Great host, we arrived by bicycles, host welcomed us and explained everything. Host offered to buy coal and fluid for the grill, we paid extra 9eur for it. Property is very private, we didn't need clothes when swimming in the lake 😀

I loved how cozy the room was, and the building as well, more generally. It was quiet and dark (which is exactly what I like) when I got there. Finding the key and getting into my room was a breeze. It was a great relief getting out of the cold and into a warm, pleasantly smelling environment. I could feel my heart-rate drop as soon as I got in. The bed was very comfortable, the lighting and decoration soothing and comforting. I was very much satisfied with my stay. The water boiler was a welcome addition, as was the coffee machine downstairs. I never saw any of the staff, but I was also certainly grateful for their keeping the place clean and tidy. The bathroom had one of those tubular self-contained showers units that are apparently popular in Latvia and it worked perfectly.
