L'oliveraie De Marighais located in the countryside, 58 km south of Marrakesh. It has a large outdoor pool and is surrounded by a garden and terrace, decorated with olive trees and flowers. lovely setting with views just beyond Asni about 60K from Marrakech and a whole world away! Easy to find and well signposted parking on site free and safe. Rooms are mini villas set in lovely gardens. My friend and I had a small swimming pool all to ourselves, quiet and relaxing.[there are 2 larger pools in the complex] Evening meal by the pool was very good. Beds were comfortable with nice pillows. Staff were excellent.
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and hot spring bath, Ouirgane Ecolodge is set in Ouirgane in Toubkal National Park, 49 km from Marrakech. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Riad Diwane in Ouirgane features a garden and a terrace. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. This pet-friendly riad also has free WiFi. This was the perfect stopover before going to Marrakech. Ridwan and his mum made the stay perfect. This was a very quiet place and their property is outstanding. Would really recommend having the dinner made by Ridwan’s Mum, best food we’ve had in Morocco.
Domaine Malika is located in a large valley filled with olive and pine trees and surrounded by the Atlas Mountains. Each room and suite is unique and offers a view of the mountains and valley. Very accommodating staff. Great place to chillax. I loved the deco and sense to details , very beautiful sitting.
Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Kasbah Africa is located in Ouirgane. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with air conditioning and an ipod dock. Beautiful cabins and scenery. The staff were excellent and arranged a car to the airport. The food was traditional, fresh and tasty. We did a trek through the Atlas Mountains and our guide, Mohammed was very knowledgeable about the plants, villages and the people. A wonderful, relaxing stay!

Amazing scenery and even better hospitality. Amina, Hassan and team are brilliant (organised taxis and transfers for us and really looked after us).The Hiking was excellent and our guide, Mohamed, was superb (looked after us but also gave us our space). As à base for our visit to the region, it iwas so much better than the overly touristy (and quite often overpriced) Imlil valley. If you are visiting the Atlas Mountains, staying at the Eco-Lodge is a definite must.
Lovely area to get insight into Berber way of life. Locals are friendly and happy to invite you in for mint tea for a small charge. Ali is a local guide that hangs around waiting to give tourists a guide of the area or to take you on long walks, get you mules, etc(again for a charge) Chez momo is a lovely place to cool down with a drink at the end of the day, does a lovely tagine too.
The trekking in the area is fanatstic thiough the place feels a little remote. The ecolodge was a fantatsic place to stay and the people of the area werre super friendly. Food was abundant and tasty. Taking advantage of the trekking is key to enjoying the region. Calm and peaceful-great for an escape from Marrakech!
We enjoyed our stay. The lodge was clean, kept tidy with really helpful staff. The meal options were good. Every meal was extremely good starting with really good breakfasts. We were able to walk from this location in wonderful surroundings. SO SO GOOD. Recommended to all wanting a break from work and stress.
It is advisable to hire a guide if you would like to go walking in the mountains. We hired our guide for three days of walking and had an excellent time. There were some other guests who went walking on their own with plans to go to the lake near by but they walked around in circles for 1 and a half hours and never did find the lake, a guide can take you on routes you may not otherwise go on. The guide also helped us to go 'rock hunting' (for amethyst and agate common in the area) and this was great fun for the children (ages 16 and 13). We ate mainly at the hotel. The food was excellent but also ate at the tiny (whole in the wall) restaurant at the intersection of the road to the hotel. The owner will 'cook you whatever you want' and he charges next to nothing for a beautiful meal. The hotel is quite isolated but the managers drove us themselves into Asni which was very kind.
From the moment we arrived; instant relaxation. Hassan is an amazing host, the most hospitable of people. His garden is amazing, all of the fruits and vegetables and teas he grows were out of this world. Seriously. The food is plentiful and DELICIOUS. Also very reasonably priced. The pool and the room were immaculate. Incredibly comfortable. I've never enjoyed a stay somewhere quite so much. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is plentiful hiking all around the surrounding area, as well as really nice bikes you can hire on site. And his cat is adorable.

The owner was very attentive and friendly. He arranged a local guide, which also helped with translations. Room and food were very good value for money. Ouirgane is a nice quiet rural village, with an authentic local experience, do not be surprised to be the only travellers in the valley. The outward transport arrangements were made for us, which included onward travel to ouarzazete from Marrakech. Ask for Mohammed to give you a real trek and meal up in the mountains!

Wonderful setting, no light pollution at night so great night sky. Very peaceful and relaxing. Berber staff lovely mild people, happy to help. Good and comfortable large rooms. No alcohol served but hotel happy if u take yr own. Walk to local Berber village via the river well worth the effort. Temperature in the mountains was lower then the norm and so it was very comfortable.

This is a wonderful set-up. The Ksar is set up in an olive grove, and has used the olive trees throughout the premises. It has quite a few rooms, but all spaced out, so there is a lot of privacy. Enormous swimming pool, with lovely seating areas, and still olive trees every where. The main area has cosy sitting rooms and some fireplaces and huge windows. We were off-season so few guests. Just how we like it :-) Romantic dinner and breakfast at the poolside. The poor server had to work quite hard. When we ordered some tea, after dinner, it was brought all the way to our ' bungalow'. What a sweetheart. The room was very large and spacious, and wonderfully decorated. Lovely outdoor private seating. Great pillows. Professional and very friendly staff.

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are each in separate bungalows and very spacious. The pool was lovely but a bit cold. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I would happily stay there again.
