This hotel is located 5 minutes from the village of Skoura and 35 minutes from the airport of Ouarzazate. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and free parking. Great location - along the way from Marrakech to Merzouga Sahara. The hosts were very friendly & welcoming. As we stayed on New Year's Eve, they even arranged for a celebration cake and a local tribe to celebrate with music & dance, The dinner featured was one of the best tagines we had during our time in Morocco - fresh ingredients, fragrant spices.
This Eco-friendly riad is located in the oasis of Skoura, on a 4-hectare farm. Set between the desert and the Atlas Mountains, it offers air-conditioned rooms, a sea water outdoor pool and a hammam. The team at Sawadi were incredibly attentive to our needs and offered different options to tailor our experience to our requests. The place is very charming and well taken care of, and the rooms are spacious. We had the most amazing hammam + massage, and a half-day excursion to a place close-by that was not in the tourist guides yet totally worth it, and we were able to try all of their homemade confitures for breakfast by the fireplace. Only regret is not staying longer!
Located in Skoura palm groove, Kasbah 123 Soleil offers an outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi access and a terrace with outdoor furniture. The owners were very attentive, ready to solve any issues that came up. The lady agreed to cook for us even if we asked only two hours before. The tajine, salad, fruit and pastries were very good and generous. Our place had two rooms, a wc separate from the shower, a living room and a terrace overlooking the garden. It was spacious and comfortable for a family, and for a very good price. The owners had a great sense of genuine hospitality, allowing us to use the common living room until 23:00 to have Wi-Fi. They also provided us with a heated, since the night was unusually cold. The breakfast was delicious, with orange juice and homemade donoughts, a local treat. Location allows you to have a nice view of the palmeraie and watch the sunset from the rooftop (although it is not furnished).
This authentic Moroccan guest house is set in the Ouarzazate province and features a traditional Berber design. Guests are invited to relax on the terrace, in the garden or in the lounge area. One of the first places where the internet really works in the room, very cozy, good size of bedroom, very nice staff and breakfast. Highly recommended
Offering river views, Eco-Ferme Tamalait Skoura in Skoura offers accommodation, a restaurant, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. I had a peaceful time in Eco-Ferme Brothers are very welcoming me warmly Good dinner and breakfast, cozy bed,hot shower is good pressure Highly recommend!!
Set in Skoura, 5 km from Kasbah Amridil, Gite Kasbah La Palmeraie offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. You will be received by an incredibly nice and welcoming family. They were available for everything we needed and did their very best to help us and provide us with everything we needed during our stay. The room was clean and reasonable for its price. The Kasbah is accessible from a street near the center but its back door leads to to the rural area that is a magic sight to see. Earthen houses and kasbah in the middle of palm trees and everyone is incredibly kind. The food they served at the kasbah was tasty, 100% local and organic.
Offering a heated outdoor pool and a restaurant, L'Ma Lodge is located in Skoura. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. All units include a reversible air-conditioning. After the very warm welcome, we arrived to our beautiful room surrounded by palmtrees. The staff was beyond helpful and kind (from fixing us a last minute meal to showing us the way to all te must sees in the area). Dinner was delicious and breakfast a real treat! So honestly an amazing stay and would love to come back one day soon! Thank you so much!
This was a bird-watching holiday and we chose Skoura because it was accessible to known birding sites to the west and the east. However, we discovered that Skoura, and Sidi Flah a few miles to the south, are brilliant birding and walking locations in their own right.
Scenic and interesting, with nice side trips to a gorge and a casbah. But in a first trip to Morocco where we wanted to see Fez, Marrakech & the desert, there wasn't much time to squeeze in more at Skoura.
The family was very nice and friendly. Very friendly personal, nice view, Eventhough we arrived late, they prepared us the whole dinner (soup, main and desert) which costs 9 eur per person. Breakfast was also delicious. kasbahladatted'orskoura
Skoura is a beautiful little town to relax, recharge, and experience beautiful Moroccan culture on the way to Marrakech or Agadir. We loved it. We especially loved the food and accommodations at Kasbah Ait Ben Moro. Definitely stop by and visit the store next door owned by Manar where she makes handmade traditional Berber rugs and blankets for great prices!
Skoura has amazing Kasbash architecture that looks stunning in between the palms... it is definitely worth a visit if you are an architecture and cultural lover. Also is a good spot to do the stop over between Merzouga Dessert and Marrakesh.
Mr Abdou took us in and looked after us really well. He took us for a walk in the oasis and shared his iftar meal with us in the evening, as we were visiting during Ramadan. We had a really lovely time in Le Jardin des Grenadiers. One traveler's tip from us - it is better to arrive during the day because the house is located in the oasis and it's easier to reach in daytime.
The food and staff at this guest house are excellent. The room was pleasant, the hot water and wifi good. The terrace has lovely views to the High Atlas. We were grateful to be warmly welcomed during the COVID crisis. Skoura is very beautiful and I recommend the tour guide or you won’t be able navigate the labyrinthine paths among the palms, or find some of its treasures.
The hotel has beautiful grounds - palm trees, birds and roses. The rooms are authentic and comfortable, the beds are great. Our room had a fireplace, which we used! The breakfast and dinner were delicious. It is near many attractions and a great stopping point between Marrakech and Merzouga. Skoura palmerie is a UNESCO site, so the place itself is really worth exploring.
The staff is very helpful and kind. If you ask something they will help you immediately. They e.g. helped us with getting a guided tour through the palmeries. It was one of the best Tours we had during our 20+ days stay in Morocco. All the facilities are perfect. 10/10.
The genuine and friendly welcome, which we enjoyed throughout our stay we really appreciated. Our meals were delicious and the overall ambiance of the property was superb. If returning to Skoura we would, without hesitation, return to the home of this lovely family.
What a lovely stay! We were welcomed very warmly by the family. The owner gave us a lot of great advice for our stay in Skoura and beyond. The rooms were comfortable and the food was great - with much of it sourced straight from the family's garden.
Les Jardins de Skoura is a hidden gem!! Beauty at its highest level!! All the staff is super kind and thoughtful. The rooms are nicely decorated and the cuisine is simply delicious. Highly recommended!!!
Very friendly and helpful hosts, excellent food, unique location in the middle of the oasis, wonderful garden with large swimming pool on the one side and friendly farm animals on the other.
The hotel Kasbah Ait BenHadda itself is very nice and clean. It has a nice patio and the view from the terraces on the towers is pleasant. The staf is nice as well.
beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was the best we had in Morocco! Very welcoming too. Highly recommended. We wish we had stayed longer 😃
We travelled through Morocco for 2 weeks- this was a welcome respite and truly felt welcoming and like home!
