If you are looking for the ultimate escape to recharge, look no further. I just wrapped up a three-day stay at Cabañas Camino al Cielo 1 and "fantastic" doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found something special. The cabin itself is a work of art. You can tell immediately that it was amazingly constructed with a high attention to detail. Unlike many rentals that feel cramped, this space was incredibly spacious and airy. • The Bed: I had some of the best sleep of my life in the very large, ultra-comfortable bed. • The Restroom: Modern, clean, and very nicely designed • The Terrace: This was the highlight of my mornings. The terrace offers absolutely fantastic views that you could stare at for hours. A beautiful building is one thing, but the hosts truly made the experience. They are absolutely lovely people—genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. Whether I needed a recommendation or a little extra assistance, they were there to help with everything. Their warmth made me feel right at home from the start. The area surrounding the cabin is a dream for anyone looking to get away from the city. • Fresh Air: The air is cool, crisp, clean, and rejuvenating. • Adventure: It is the perfect home base for hiking and exploring nature. • Peace: It’s total tranquility—just you and the great outdoors. Of course if you just want to relax then it’s the perfect place to unwind. I’m already planning my next trip back!

We had an amazing stay with Omar and his wife. They were very friendly, caring, helpful and knowledgeable. The cabins are very cozy and have everything you need. If you want you can get breakfast served in your cabin, so you can enjoy your breakfast in your bed with a stunning view.

The village is amazing and the host greatly contributed to our enjoyment of our stay. He answered every need hastly. We had wood for fire as soon as we needed it and it's very easy to communicate with him. The place is very clean and while being a bit secluded, it is not far from the shops and restaurants that are available in this charming village. Overall, we had an amazing three nights there and recommend this place with no hesitation.

The cabin was stunning - we had a big terrace looking out over the mountains and the views were incredible. Massive comfy bed and slightly set back from the road which meant a quieter night. Omar was super responsive and really helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!

Marian’s homemade pasta was outstanding (and as an Italian, I have high pasta standards). Ale’s shakshuka was the best I’ve ever had, and Opy’s tea with honey was simply divine. The property itself was equally incredible, with breathtaking views and a beautifully decorated room complete with a cozy fireplace—perfect for cool evenings. The natural beauty and thoughtful details made every moment feel special. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality.
