Very relaxing atmosphere in the jungle, cabana beautiful, comfortable beds, good sleep, excellent pool and places to chill. Very tranquil place. Staff exceptional, helpful, friendly. Great place to stay longer time than 3 days like we did, The only problem is getting around. Taxis are expensive and charge from every extra move you make, 500 pesos for 10 min drive to the beach. Would highly recommend car rent ( which I realised too late:)), lots of places to go to in the area- nature parks, adventure parks, cenotes. Breakfast at the property really good. Possible to have dinner, which is homemade, drinks during the day. Felt really cared for and would come back 100 percent!

Wonderful boutique hotel with large rooms and delightful relaxation areas with a large pool, sun loungers, bar and dining space. The owners made our stay so enjoyable, we would highly recommend a stay at this tranquil hotel.

This is such a unique, magical place in the middle of the forest, the conception of artist Andreas who we had the pleasure to meet (he speaks great English) over dinner and breakfast. He was generous with his time and it was fun to hear his story and plans for future development. The tree houses are quirky and reached by suspension walk ways. There is a common lounge area and kitchen and a viewing post if you want to be adventurous. There's a swimming pool(invigoratingly cold in Feb) and common areas around the property. The detail and craftsmanship of the furniture, the mosaics, etc is amazing. We loved the orchids and Snowy, the cat. The bed was really comfortable and the internet was great. The coffee was the best I'd had in Mexico and we came away with a packet which had his art work and story on it.

A place in Paradise! We will come back.

We loved staying here. It's just over an hour from Cancun airport but is a really quiet, relaxed place. I guess it helps that Puerto Aventuras is a secure resort with a security gate as the only entrance. The hotel is very clean and well organised. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day and we always had fresh towels and bottles of water left for us. We had breakfast included for a few days and it was also great, especially the buffet version at the weekend. They can make a cappuccino if you ask for it, otherwise you get regular filter coffee. We spent a lot of time at the pools and the beach and enjoyed the food and drinks available from the beach bar. The beach is fabulous, sheltered by the artificial barriers and very gently shelving out to sea. The snorkelling near the shore is ok, but is much better at the reef a couple of hundred metres out. There are lots of palm trees at the beach so plenty of shade if you want it. The loungers are free to use, just remember to pick up your beach towel each day at reception and return it later. The daybeds by the pool are also great for hanging out in. The nearby marina has a variety of restaurants so eating out is very easy. There are also a couple of bakeries/cafes just outside the hotel, which we enjoyed breakfast at a few times, and also a small supermarket just opposite the hotel which is great for getting snacks. There are also pharmacies dotted around in case you need them. The hotel can call taxis for you if you want to go anywhere. They arrive quickly. We went to Xcaret which took around 20 minutes and cost 400 MXN for the four of us, then about the same for the trip back after the evening show.
