Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.

The beach were great but could be cleaner.

The beach were great but could be cleaner. The view was fantastic and enjoyed walking alone on the shoreline. It goes on forever. There were hardly anyone else on the beach. The water was great too, not to cold and clear.

Cherating, the beach is awesome and great view of sunrise.

Cherating, the beach is awesome and great view of sunrise. A lot of resort to choose from the cheapest wooden room to a 5 star resort. But the beach is not for swimming, esspecially on moonsoon time its a bit unsafe even you're a swimmer due to south china sea strong wind and a big wave. A place for relaxing your mind from busy city life. A lot of local food must try.

Enjoyed the night river cruise/ fireflies gazing the most. You can even have star gazing at the same time. Very worthy for money. Turtle release is not so worthy for money, overprice as you have to release them in group as quick as possible for higher survival chances. Foods are mostly in big portions with very cheap price, some are tasty, some are not. Seas are not so clean/ beautiful.

Very fun, people there are genuinely nice and fun to be with. A lot of activities to do, or you can just sit there and look at the sea, listen to the waves and look up to the sky at night, full of stars. Scenery is very beautiful.

good for a couple of nights.

good for a couple of nights. The chalets are nice but the aircon unit in our room was malfunctioning all the time. Cable has poor selection of stations. The bed was comfortable, Staff was friendly and the hotel is easy to find. The menu at the restaurant is limited. There are 5 pools so this is ideal for kids. The beach is clean and the sand is not rocky. Overall a good stay, we would stay here again next time we visit. Probably the best place in Cherating other than club med

Nothing much to like because everything was horrible. Children water play stuff majority broken. Not repaired. Pool very dirty. Rooms was just horrible. I paid Rm1300 for my room. But super bad room. Toilet was horrible. Aircond n heater including some lights not working. Not worth the money at all. I stayed Holiday Villa Penang. Was super good. But holiday villa Cherating is completely bad. If I rate both of them : Holiday Villa Penang 90% Holiday villa Cherating 20%

The bed was comfortable. AC was working well. Location is quite secluded away from the masses. Quick drive to Pantai Cherating. 5 to 10 minutes. Private beach, but there's a wall of boulders to break the waves and reduce erosion. Not a deal breaker for me so that's fine.

This hotel is perfect for surfers! It offers direct beach access, making it incredibly convenient. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were comfortable, with reliable hot water and functioning showers. Highly recommend for a beach getaway!
