Staff is being helpful on fast response on the location and direct given instructions for check in. Overall love it!!! Aircond sejuk, pressure air okay, laut kena jalan sikit - oh got bbq pit, outside shower and mini playground for kids!

Cherating is the perfect getaway from city traffic and crowds. It’s calm, relaxing, and still keeps that charming village feel. The beach is clean, the air is fresh, and the pace of life here is so laid-back.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet instead of busy tourist spots, Cherating is the place. Loved it!

Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.

The beach were great but could be cleaner.
The beach were great but could be cleaner. The view was fantastic and enjoyed walking alone on the shoreline. It goes on forever. There were hardly anyone else on the beach. The water was great too, not to cold and clear.

Cherating, the beach is awesome and great view of sunrise. A lot of resort to choose from the cheapest wooden room to a 5 star resort. But the beach is not for swimming, esspecially on moonsoon time its a bit unsafe even you're a swimmer due to south china sea strong wind and a big wave. A place for relaxing your mind from busy city life. A lot of local food must try.

Enjoyed the night river cruise/ fireflies gazing the most. You can even have star gazing at the same time. Very worthy for money. Turtle release is not so worthy for money, overprice as you have to release them in group as quick as possible for higher survival chances. Foods are mostly in big portions with very cheap price, some are tasty, some are not. Seas are not so clean/ beautiful.

Very fun, people there are genuinely nice and fun to be with. A lot of activities to do, or you can just sit there and look at the sea, listen to the waves and look up to the sky at night, full of stars. Scenery is very beautiful.

Nothing much to like because everything was horrible. Children water play stuff majority broken. Not repaired. Pool very dirty. Rooms was just horrible. I paid Rm1300 for my room. But super bad room. Toilet was horrible. Aircond n heater including some lights not working. Not worth the money at all.
I stayed Holiday Villa Penang. Was super good. But holiday villa Cherating is completely bad. If I rate both of them :

The beach is just a walking distance from the hotel. Big swimming pool facing the sea. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Able to see sunrise from hotel balcony.
