The suite was really really amazing! The best place I ever stayed at. We initially booked the other suite, but they gave us an upgrade to the river suite. The view on the Ijssel was amazing, the room is so big and the bath is wonderful. I would truly recommend everybody to stay here. You are in the city center already and Deventer is a very cute city.

The hotel is really first class. The room was located in the new wing on the 2nd floor. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The complete breakfast is served on a large plate per person. The location is fabulous with a view over the River IJssel. The little ferry brings you to the other banks where you can enter the historical town of Deventer. The so called 'living' is the nicest place in the hotel.

Unbelievable service. Peter was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. I look forward to going back to the Royal hotel. It has a lovely atmosphere. Situated perfectly in the centre of town. It has a kind of charm that is completely lacking in modern hotels. Great coffee and a nice breakfast. Can't praise the place or the staff enough. A+++++

We had a fantastic time there.

We had a fantastic time there. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area, and crossing the border is easy. We'll definitely be back. We ate at Milano in Wierden, partly because we'd already eaten there a few times earlier this year. And they work with people with disabilities in a very caring way.
