The view on the Ijssel was amazing, the room is so big and the bath is wonderful. I would truly recommend everybody to stay here. You are in the city center already and Deventer is a very cute city.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of the City
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Located right in the city center, everything you need is within 20 meters — shops, restaurants, clubs, and bars. The hotel also features an excellent restaurant.
The staff were extremely professional, polite, and always willing to assist. I even lost a ring, and they immediately helped me search for it — and we found it!
I truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Deventer to me, is the Prague of the Netherlands.
Deventer to me, is the Prague of the Netherlands. It is jaw dropping beautiful. It is spacious and cleaner than many cities. People are friendly. There are hidden gem restaurants off the square as well as beautiful little shops. I wish to spend more time in Deventer.

Deventer is one of those places where there is a surprise...
Deventer is one of those places where there is a surprise around every corner. Visually stunning, with a breathtakingly restored old quarter with loads of small shops and restaurants. Everywhere is close by and walkable. The sheer beauty of the place, the stunningly restored buildings, everything is perfect for a day, or a few hours of exploration. Eventhoujgh I am biased, I'd put it up there with the main tourist centers in the Netherlands. With less tourists, so much more enjoyable.

Good base for the Hanzestedenpan walks along River Ijsell.
Good base for the Hanzestedenpan walks along River Ijsell. Close to good transport links for day trips to Zwolle, Zutphen, Kampen and Amersfoort.
Enjoyed Museum de Waag,Lebuinuskerk, De Heks and Davo brewery.
Lovely place. More than enough to do in a week in local area.

Lovely town and very relaxing lovely for a short break, very easy to get there from the airport. I think the train is the best and easiest option. Beautiful cheese shop in central of the town amazing restaurants my favourite was Da Mario Logo or sandwich bar for lunch lovely staff and very friendly they were all nice. The sweet shop was a bit over priced. Beautiful little shops eg. With antiques. You can rent a very nice and comfortable bicycles. I enjoyed staying in the Finch hotel but everyone have different preferences.

An amazingly beautiful and buzzing Hanseatic town with a huge history. Just wandering around aimlessly is a experience in itself. The musea, churches and architecture are hard to surpass. Lots of small craft stores, artisan outlets and smart places to eat, especially around the Brink and in the Berg quarter. The possibilities are endless and well worth the dffort.

I fell in love with Deventer. This trip changed my life.
I fell in love with Deventer. This trip changed my life. The history of the city reveals itself in every corner as you walk through it.
To my surprise, it was the day the city’s football club was playing an important match. I happened to be in the city, having dinner, and it was a very special moment to witness the joy of the people when they won.
The bookstores are hidden treasures scattered throughout the city, and the museums add even more richness to the experience.
Great restaurants are everywhere, and the people are incredibly friendly.

We had an amazing stay!
Everything was beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing and romantic experience.
What really made the difference was the staff — especially the two ladies we met. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel completely comfortable from the first moment. Their friendliness and professionalism truly stood out.
Thank you for such a lovely experience. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel

Good location, good room size, fully equipped (micro, stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffemaker, kettle, cutlery etc.)
Comfortable large bed, seating area, plethora of tv channels.
15 min walk from train station and same distance from just about everything in Deventer centre. Plenty of eateries and watering holes close by. Very nice vietnamese restaurant diagonally across from Residence

A quiet oase close to the centre of Deventer where you feel being in the nature - the picture is misleading - so much wild flowers now. The home brings a special experience instead of a traditional hotel room.
