The hotel is in a charming location with shops and restaurants all around. Good quality and variety of food at breakfast. The staff was very attentive to make sure everyone was getting coffee/tea and checking in to see if people needed refills. Rooms were basic, but clean. I appreciated having a fan in my room.

The appartement was in a converted farm, and the three appartement have individual private terrace/garden areas looking different directions (views of fields, woods), private without being fenced off. Very nicely renovated, with an eye for detail (ceiling moldings! Real walls! Solid wooden doors!) Cosy but modern furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Landgoed Twickel is very nice for walking around (from short strolls to day walks). The village has decent shops and restaurants, and there's many more sites to see and walks to walk within half an hours drive.

Delden is pittoresque.
Delden is pittoresque. For me it's all about memories from way back when we lived in the area and raised our kids there. There are countless bike and walking trails in and around Delden. My favourite area would be Landgoed Twickel with its castle and Oele.

Their waiter Max was so welcoming, friendly and informative about both the hotel and about the region. The hotel is a joy to stay in with plenty of interesting nooks and crannies, games and sports to explore. There's an overall feeling of quality in the rooms, fixtures and fittings and a wonderful open aspect to the lush green views around the complex. I give it 11 out of 10 for atmosphere!
