UkraineWe stayed at the hotel for 1 night. And despite the rain, we had wonderful emotions. A very cozy house, clean, well-kept, homely atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming owner of the house. The area is generally like a fairy tale, a river runs through the area, ducks swim, birds sing, behind the house 10 meters away is the sea. It's a pity we couldn't use it because of the rain. Wonderful view from the window. Breakfast is hearty and delicious. After breakfast, the owner of the house sang songs to us and played the guitar. It was completely unexpected and at the same time wonderful. We had wonderful emotions for the day. We will definitely come back here again.. Thanks 😊

It was wonderfully presented with spectacular attention to detail. The sheep on the eggs were very cute and the small trash bin was a perfect addition.
The room let in a bit of sunlight so it was beautiful. Very close to a bus stop that goes to Amsterdam Noord.
We also much enjoyed the free tea

Peaceful little town about 20/30 minutes from Centraal Station by bus. The bus service was very regular and convenient. We preferred staying here in a nice little hotel than in a kip in Amsterdam for the same price.

Beautiful town with so much to see.
Beautiful town with so much to see. We walked around the small streets and along the canal. It does get invaded by tour groups during the day but the evenings were lovely. Definitely worth a visit and an overnight stay.

I spent 8 days in Edam for a workshop so the time length was fine. If I hadn't had that activity, it would have been too long.
It's a very pretty town with lovely canals and architecture. The bell-tower is lovely

A nice small quiet town with a few restaurants.
A nice small quiet town with a few restaurants. Very picturesque with lots of canals. Good transport links to Amsterdam so you don’t have to stay in the hustle and bustle of a busy city. Lovely towns nearby to visit. The only downside was that there was no convenience stores in the centre.

Historic quiet little town with great restaurants and a few interesting shops and some free parking. Easy drive to other attractions such as Marken, Volendam, Alkmaar Friday morning Cheese Market, Horne and Zuiderzee open air museum. A good home base.Recommend the Dom Hotel restaurant .

Edam is a wonderful city to visit.
Edam is a wonderful city to visit. Near the cheese museum and so much to discover. I was there for a sewing retreat and I enjoyed everyday. Lovely people and wonderful location. Greta connection with Amsterdam by bus and metro. My husband and I loved it.

It was quiet and very private. Close to the town. Property was warm, it was vey cosy! I cannot speak highly enough of Hubb and Paula, the communication was absolutely outstanding, Hubb was amazing helping us with information on the current train strikes, he really went above and beyond and we would have been lost without his help. I have never had someone so helpful to our situation, it was really appreciated. If we ever visit Edam again, we would absolutely re book the tiny house. 10 stars! 🌟

We enjoyed every minute in this lovely apartment and in beautiful Edam. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The apartment is large, beautifully decorated and very clean and cozy. You find there everything you need for pleasant stay. The Edam town is so beautiful and it was so nice to walking around canals. We found two very good restaurants, one on the lake shore and one in the center. We went to Amsterdam by bus and it was quick. Everything was just perfect!

The hosts welcomed us very kindly. They helped us with everything if we had any questions.
The apartment was clean and comfortable for us. We really liked Edam and Volendam. There is a fast and good bus connection to Amsterdam. You can leave the car in the free parking lot next to the Edam bus station.
