Very nice boutique hotel, unique atmosphere, nothing like them big chain “luxury” hotels. was very lucky to be suited in the first room. Staff was very friendly and lovely. but be careful at night with local immigrants 😂 got beat up right in front of hotel. 10/10 experience, my first booking review

Great location if you plan for a visit to Johan Cruyff Arena or Ziggo Dome. I really loved the feeling of camping outside during rain, while being in a completely indoors facility (not to be misunderstood, it was only the sound of water pouring outside, nothing more, still great).

The hotel's service was amazingly outstanding, the staff just helped us with everything, available 24/7 and the nicest there is. The hotel is clean and designed to a really high standard, super modern. It should be noted that we received amazing treatment, the breakfast is amazing and it is only 14 euros. There was a projector to show movies in the lobby in the evening as well as an amazing bar that works until 1am. Really, if you are debating about this hotel, just don't shut up. Amazing hotel.

The July - Boat & Co is a 4-star hotel located along the waterfront in Amsterdam's Houthaven district, ideal for both short and extended stays. The studio was very spacious and the view was amazing. The breakfast choices were so many, I was able to eat a different meal every day. Staff were super helpful and kind. The lobby area and the restaurant area were really nice hang out spots at the end of the day.

Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam is a unique hotel in Amsterdam at the IJ river, at the former location where ships left for Jakarta. Everything was just perfect! We were greeted with a glass of prosecco, the staff was always polite and pleasant. The rooms are excellent, the view from the room is perfect. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Stepping into the boat was like traveling back in time to 1911 albeit with some modern conveniences. It was everything my wife and I had hoped for and more.

IJmuiden is really just a container port and lacks any kind...
IJmuiden is really just a container port and lacks any kind of facility for solo travellers or families. Okay there are the dunes and the North Sea coast to explore but there are plenty of more pleasant places I would choose to stay along that coastline. I found one little restaurant / take away place with a bar near my hotel where I was made to feel welcome but that was it. The town centre was a mess with various building works all over the place and there is of course the scenic view over the container port to the steel works. I'm sorry to say but the only saving grace about IJmuiden is that Amsterdam is a minute bus ride away and Haarlem about 20 minutes. I've stayed in many places in Noord-Holland but this one will be memorable for all the wrong reasons.
