we got a very nice room, with big windows with the view to the small lake.
Not that many options for dinner in the menu, but what we ordered was excellent. very busy restaurant/hotel in the period we stay, but did not bother us.

Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village...
Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village in the beautiful countryside not too far from Utrecht and close to the castle. The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with sufficient choice. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms just across the road from the main building. Our room was really comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom, with toiletries, was beautiful. It was great to have a kettle. The bedding and towels were of a high quality. We had a balcony overlooking the street, but the sound proofing was excellent.
The town is very small, and the hotel is centrally located.

Harmelen is a very nice village. Good connections to Utrecht, Amsterdam, denHaag both by car and bus/train. Very nice room. Good breakfast. Nice people that run it!
