Beautiful location and building. Ria was very friendly and welcomed us, and told us about the different animals. From our windows and little terrace in front of our room we could watch the horse with her foal and sheep. You can tell that they treat their animals well. The cat loved cuddles, the sheep and horses were super friendly and wanted pets (let them come to you to see if they want to interact ;) ). The bathtub in the room was great, really nice for a cozy evening of reading. The bed was very comfortable, too. We also went for a long walk in the evening, which was super nice as well, lots of horses, a small castle and lots of running or cycling paths. Will definitely try to come back!

Traditional outside with updated interior. Large room accommodated us and our two dogs comfortably. Quiet area but a few minutes from Groningen Centrum. Breakfast was a surprise, delicious and good value for money

We loved our stay here! We had a spacious bedroom (with comfy bed and pillows....thanks for providing the extra pillows), spacious bathroom and our own living room. Outside in the garden there is a large table where we could eat takeaways if we chose, however instead we made use of their two free bikes and cycled both nights 2 kilometres down the gorgeous treelined countrylane to the village where there are several excellent restaurants to choose from. The room is newly installed in the old barn part of the building, they have made an excellent job and made it look 'authentic'. They regularly hold garden tours, thats how nice it is. Super quiet. Breakfast is brought each morning on a trolly so we could eat when we wanted. Free parking. All in all a 10 out of 10!
