Very good breakfast Great country side location

The location for us was amazing, the facilities were exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Room was spacious, clean, well appointed, modern. (To my surprise I received an upgrade) Bathroom also spacious, clean, well appointed and modern. Both shower and jacuzzi. It is a large facility. The internal signage was good. Breakfast full selection Dinner wide selection and tasty. Not high cuisine, but more than standard Buffet lunch for workshop group was fresh, tasty and attractive I facilitated a workshop - the facilities were excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. Easy to deal with in advance and they met all our needs throughout the day.

The hotel itself has been updated and the room was well decorated, modern and clean - perfect for what we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and we had basic amenities like bath towels, hand towels, a kettle for tea and coffee, a hairdryer, body wash shampoo combo, a fan and a TV. No bar fridge though. They have a communal area downstairs where you can sit and eat your own food and a fridge where you can purchase water, chocolates and sodas from them. You can also buy a coffee or tea down there. The breakfast was from 8-9:30 and the staff working there were super friendly and greeted, smiled at us and asked how we slept. It was a simple, but sufficient and tasty breakfast consisting of croissants, breads (different kinds, including a sweet bread), chocolate croissants, boiled eggs, cheese, hams, jams, nutella, beschuit, granola, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea, bread rolls, tomato slices, cucumber slices and yoghurts from a local farmer. Later in the day the hotel operates a restaurant downstairs. They don't clean the rooms unless you request it - but this wasn't necessary because we only stayed a weekend. Anloo is a very small village. Its neat and cute with farms and cows all around, but I didn't walk around here or explore it because I mostly wanted to be at ’t Nije Hemelrijk and in the Drentsche Aa. I saw a lot of people biking in the area, which is nice if you like the quiet open fields. There also isn't a supermarket near the hotel so we drove to Gieten to get things, which was just 10 mins drive away. They have a Jumbo and Lidl in Gieten.

I liked the all. Fantastic property. Huge bed, very clean, nice staff, location good, amazing restaurant on the first floor. Fridge with food and fresh bread. Wow! 🤩
