Norg was a little place in holland, and lovely to visit.
Norg was a little place in holland, and lovely to visit. There is plenty to see and quaint shops and restaurants. We attended the Assen circuit, which was not far away, easy to get to from autobahn. We visited one of the restaurants called " 't Wapen van Norg" Grand cafe restaurant, lovely food, fairly priced. People are friendly.

A beautiful little town with lovely friendly residents who...
A beautiful little town with lovely friendly residents who were so happy to have a chat with us. We were travelling on an old British motorcycle from England to Northern Denmark, and to stop here was a real find.
The hotel was very cozy and the restaurants too. The local church and market were also open and that was super cozy. We wouldn't hesitate to stop here again, and would go out of our way to come back!

The location is perfect right at the edge of the lovely village of Norg. We were visiting family, and we could walk to their home only 5 mins away. Norg is delightful. The apartment was large and cozy, with everything you would need for either a long or short stay. We stayed for six nights. Two grocery stores in walking distance, a few bars with outdoor terraces, a pizza place that does takeaway.....a wonderful stay. Thanks, Aline!!

The host and hotel was an experience and having the freedom to use the facilities in a cozy warm environment was lovely. Room was spacious, cozy. Breakfast was perfect, the way its conducted, served. There is lots of information provided and lots of things to do, depending why your visiting. There is supermarket next door, couple of restaurants and other shops. Coffee is provided in the rooms, but your welcome to bring your own.

Very calm, clean, nice decor, good bed and shower.
Right in the centre of the Village, where we did the Folly Art Norg walk. Check-in and check-out were very easy, information was clear (i pnly didnt know for sure we didn't need bedsheets, bit thats a very minor detail).

B&B De Esdoorn was exactly as described, and Harriet was a lovely and helpful host. Everything was low key and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and in your own space upstairs. Norg is a sweet little town surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Clean and friendly. No food on the premises but good restaurants nearby. I recommend t’Wapen Norg. My room was comfortable and the shower was powerful.
I especially recommend the morning coffee which is sourced by the hotel
