The Ludiek Eten Slapen is an exceptional hotel. This lovely hotel is situated in a beautiful little town, and we found it to be a real gem. The staff were fantastic, the room amazing and had a beautiful view over the Dutch countryside. The outside tented area was excellent along with the service, from start to finish. Great care is taken in all aspects of this superb hotel. The breakfast is worth the price alone. Tips: - For a lovely evening meal with a good atmosphere, try the Café Restaurant ‘t Knooppunt. It’s a 5 minute walk away. - After your breakfast, a stroll into the village is very much recommended.

Big comfortable room with huge comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Nice welcome and allowed us to check in very early. Big bathroom with good shower and two sinks. Breakfast included which was nice surprise as we didn't know that. Served in room in morning. Tea coffee available the whole stay.

Fantastic!

Fantastic! If you really want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet, the Havixshorst is the perfect location, surrounded by greenery. From here, you can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides in the surrounding area, and upon your return, enjoy an aperitif on the sunny terrace. Simply fantastic!

It's an amazing hotel with fantastic helpful & warm staff--truly a a luxury experience. The room was fantastic, and the hotel was beautiful. The grounds were beautiful (though we didn't get to explore much due to a delayed arrival and rain), but a highlight was that we could enjoy the beautiful view while staying dry inside.

Everything. This place is simply amazing. We have visited many times and will return many more. The hotel is simply a beautiful piece of history that you can spend a few nights in, while enjoying amazing food and wine in the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast shouldn't be missed either.

The location and restaurant are excellent! And it’s not far from Giethoorn if you wish to visit it one day. You can also rent bikes directly at the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
