Hotel Aak exceeded every expectation - truly beautiful all around. The exquisite Norwegian fare was a culinary delight, showcasing the best of local flavors and traditions. The staff was wonderfully warm and welcoming, and provided very helpful ideas and activities for our rest day which conveniently was when it rained a good part of the day. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the surrounding areas - breathtaking fjords, nearby town of Andalsnes, and stunning climbing and hiking trails all within easy reach. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable Norwegian experience. Hotel Aak is a true gem that we’ll definitely return to!

Amazing house in a great spot right by the fjord. Full kitchen and the host provided coffee beans for our first morning - it was very thoughtful and made a great start to our day. Very comfortable stay - washer AND dryer in the bath; two toilets!!!
