So many things...The apartment (perfect). The farm. The turkeys. The very old barn. The small town. The local diner. The aurora...beautiful in the clear, bright October night. The windows in the apartment are perfectly situated. Stayed here twice. On my way north, and on the way back south. Met some people at Kongsvinger Festning. They (Norwegian) have never seen the aurora. Showed the photos. And the booking info ;) Recommend. PS: fresh eggs and coffee.

We got even more than we expected for this price. All the members of the hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Also, the room had everything we needed. What I definitely recommend is breakfast – it's absolutely fabulous, definitely worth it. Note: We stayed here as a group of four in one room for one night. But I wish I could stay here longer, the hotel is just perfect.

An absolutely lovely hotel. Nice buffet for dinner (a bit expensive at 500 NK per person). The breakfast is great with the usual lunch meat and cheese (lunch for breakfast is a thing here) and eggs. Nice homemade bread. Our receptionist / bartender / waiter in the evening was an absolute delight. The white grand piano above the restaurant was a delight for my husband, who played before and after dinner to his hearts delight and the bartender enjoyed it. The view from the restaurant is amazing.

The inside of the cabin was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

Nice location but a bit close to the road. Simple but it works.

This place is amazing 😍 the three of us loved the apartment it had everything in it that we required for our weeks fishing trip and more This is a must place to stay the sceanary is exceptional plus it was halfway to all our fishing marks .
