We had a lovely dinner at The Apple Shed, great service, friendly and enjoy our dinner.
Market on Sundays just before xmas to April.
Friendly people and a peaceful place to get away from the cities

We enjoyed the local restaurants .
We enjoyed the local restaurants .The fish and chips at the smoke house were delicious,as was the smoked snapper we took back to our lovely accomodation.The meal and customer service we experienced at Mapua India Eatery was first class.A great spot to base your self,as you are close to many locations

A great spot away from the hustle of the city.
A great spot away from the hustle of the city. The apartments are right next to the Wharfside shops and eateries ( highly recommend the fish and chip shop for yummy fresh gurnard meal - much cheaper than the restaurants.) Convenience store not far away. Would definitely come back again.

Alberta’s was the best breakfast ever!
Walking & biking is easy around Māpua. People are very friendly in this quaint place.

Our stay was outside Christmas, New Year and school holidays, so quiet.
Had no issues getting meals at Mapua Wharf, plenty to choose from.
Great base for Golden Bay and Nelson.
Love taking the ferry to Rabbit Island and biking.

Amazing location, on the estuary with lots of birdlife, changing tides, water activities and so close to the Mapua Village with Arty shops, Wine bar, and several excellent places to eat . Lovely walks around the area , a ferry service to the Island across the water for biking or walking. The apartment catered for 5 adults easily and was well equiped. plenty of outdoor seating areas. We arrived on a very cold day, the heat pump was on and the instructions for entry were very clear on the office window.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is modern, comfortable and perfectly located for Mapua Wharf. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to see what outdoor equipment (Bikes, paddle baords etc) thay could provide for us. I'd stay here again at the drop of a hat!

A great place to stop over! We did the great taste trail and this was just perfect. The nicest hosts, a spacious immaculate studio, charging the bikes was no problem and an easy stroll to Mapua wharf, where it is all happening was just the icing on the cake!. It doesn't get better than this!
