Location for our visit. Lovely surroundings. The cafe was great and had a lovely breakfast. You should put a cafe open flag out on the road so people know it’s there.

    We really used Orewa as a base.

    We really used Orewa as a base. To travel around the area, over to Whangaparāoa and up to Matakana and Omaha. The beachcomber was perfect for this. It was all we needed with lovely bed and nice kitchenette and a nice big tv to watch the rugby on. The bathroom was good with a good shower. All we needed and wanted.

    Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart.

    Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart. There are loads of little shops and restaurants. The Sunday market was such a lovely surprise. There are also some of the best breakfast cafes. Can walk and cycle along the Estuary onto the beach.

    If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome,...

    If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome, then it Orewa is that place. If you need to feel safe where there is a sence of community, where people are friendly and happy then its Orewa.It's a go to happy place for me when i need a break or a change, that feeds my body, tucks me in at night and gives me peace and calm. That charges my batteries, resets me and gets me back on the right path until the next time. It's also a spiritual place.

    Beautiful seaside town.

    Beautiful seaside town. Beach is stunning, excellent for children. Big parks, markets on weekends. Supermarket is close. Plenty of eating options close by from takeaways to fine dining. Shopping mall just up the road at Silverdale. Bush walks and much much more.

    Orewa is easy to find and has excellent choice for food - the whole area is well laid out and in a wonderful setting of mature trees, parks, walkways, convenient access to beach and parking. The shops are interesting and locals friendly. Just feels like a peaceful easy place to be.

    Best location you could ask for if you want to go to Orewa beach, because the surf lifesaving club + cafe + beach facilities are all directly opposite this motel. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. It even had a decent aircon/heat pump unit, which is always a nice surprise. During the day we could hear a little bit of traffic sound but at night it was silent, so sleeping was easy. The staff were all very warm and welcoming.

    The suite was huge for the price and such good value. More than adequate facilities with two comfy beds and an awesome lounge suite for relaxing. Bathroom was great with a nice hot shower and very clean. Kitchen was generously stocked with great appliances available. Felt very secure and peaceful being away from the busy main road of Orewa. Excellent.

    I loved the homely touches once we arrived, I loved how the hosts were outstanding with communication as I was a late nighter check in. I enjoyed the quietness of the location and how well upkept the gardens were. Highly enjoyed staying there. Will definitely do it again next time in auckland.

    The location suited during an extended stay in Auckland for a family bereavement and the management were very helpful around unplanned extension of my stay. The room was well serviced, parking convenienet and the laundry facility a much needed service while on a 4 week stay.
