This is my third time returning to Queenstown and I fear I will never get enough of it. The scenery that you get to enjoy every day is unparalleled and the people here are so kind and wonderful. We could spent weeks around this area and continue finding something new and wonderful to enjoy. We love going up the gondola and spending unlimited time on the luge rides. Highly recommend Patagonia ice cream shop and of course Fergburger. Hot tip; if you can push your dinner out for a bit later, it'll be worth it to skip the line. We went at about 8:30 and barely had any wait and were served with great burgers, fresh chips and a smile.

We were there during peak Summer season, it was extremely busy. It's a lovely spot but we found it nicer to experience what was out of town. The Shotover jet boat, Bob's Cove, Glenorchy and other scenic drives out of town.

    Queenstown is a beautiful place.

Queenstown is a beautiful place. You have the lake and the mountains, everything wonderful about New Zealand can be seen or visited from Queenstown. With plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, childrens park etc there are enough amenities to make it a couple stay or base for exploring more of the South Island. My favourite has to be luging and the sights from here!

    Certainly a town for activity.

Certainly a town for activity. We enjoyed the jet boat, white water rafting, the Gondola to the summit and the steam boat ride to the farm on the TSS Earnslaw. Baja has great Mexican food but the wine was expensive. We moved accomodation to further out because of availability. The Uber drivers were prompt and friendly. I site provided good information and tickets to local attractions.

We stayed for 2 nights while biking the Queenstown cycle trails. The trails were beautiful. We also went to the Gin Garden and tasted some lovely locally made gins. Top place to visit. Views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables were amazing. Also crossed the lake on the SS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Station which was a fabulous mansion very relaxing sitting outside looking over the Lake.

Hosts were great! Easy to communicate with for their beautiful home. The location was amazing, we could see the sunrise in the morning over the mountains. Being able to wake up to that view during our stay was the real steal- IG worthy pics for a cheaper price than most motels/hotels. Facilities were super convenient. We liked that it was a cheaper place to stay over Christmas compared to other stays in Queenstown. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. The bed was quite comfy and set low on the ground. The decor was "interesting" and neither good or bad. The bathroom was alright with a shower/bath combo but the water pressure and temperature was awesome.
