Leaving QT and going to Wanaka was enjoyable. The Remarkables can be visited for a day of skiing from Wanaka, which is a nicer place to stay for multiple nights. The pre booked bus from QT airport to Wanaka with " Ritchie's Bus lines" is cheaper than a taxi is , cheaper by quite a fair bit.QT is a tourist town that has been despoiled by its own success and scenic location.

Queenstown has so many activities to do that you may run out of time. To ensure you can ski, shydive and do whatever else you want to i would suggest a two week stay at least and that allows you to explore Wanaka nearby as well. Queenstown is a beautiful city that is easily walkable and with so many places to eat you can try a new spot every night for two weeks easily.

Great location, beautiful outlook with surrounded by mountains.
Good skiing location, 20mins from nearest mountain runs.
easy to uber around, most spots $10 uber ride, or walk but have walking shoes as some hills.
The location is in central Queenstown, just a short walk/drive away from the town center and lakefront. There is a free carpark beside the hotel, but lots are limited. Room was a little cosy, but it was new and clean and had everything we needed for the one night we stayed. There's a rooftop lounge area with a great view of the lake. The highlight is the service from the staff and the amenities - there is a free hot drinks machine on every floor, which was very welcomed. Would highly recommend this hotel for couples in Queenstown.
Good location, easy walk from town centre. Most buses for queenstown activities can pick up
from stops just outside the hotel.
Clean room with good shower, comfy bed and a beautiful view.
Also super convenient that they have a heated ski gear room so no need to bring wet gear back to the room!
The stay here was fantastic, I found it great I was able to choose different pillows. The hotel is located very close to shops and also the airport. The drive to Queenstown was fantastic wonderful scenery, definitely worth the 15min drive from the hotel to Queenstown central.
The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The hotel was relatively close to the centre of queenstown. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast but the views from the breakfast room was incredible.
