The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

Adrenaline with a capital Q

Welcome to New Zealand’s adrenalin capital! There are a mountain of possibilities for your pleasure including bungee jumping, rafting, jet boating and skydiving. Overlooking the calm waters of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by peaceful mountains retreats like The Remarkables and Walter Peak, Queenstown is also party town with many cosy bars and cafés.

The best panoramas can be enjoyed when you take the Skyline Gondola up to Bob’s Peak on Ben Lamond. Breathe in the fresh alpine air when you walk or mountain bike the Queenstown Trail to nearby Arrowtown.

It’s not time to relax yet as there is still skiing to be done in the picturesque ski fields of Coronet Peak or The Remarkables and canyoning at Routeburn Canyon. Hang gliding, paragliding and abseiling are all here too!

Bring yourself back to ground level with a picnic lunch while enjoying the pristine wilderness that makes this city so eye-catching. If more intimate surrounds are your domain, then a string of high-class restaurants are available in the city centre.

Queenstown is just beautiful, with plenty to see and do.

Queenstown is just beautiful, with plenty to see and do. Eat and drink. Just delightful. We visited 30 years ago as a couple and returned with our children and grandchild. We will certainly be back with them and our friends in the future.

There is so much to see and do in Queenstown!

There is so much to see and do in Queenstown! There are so many hidden gems of restaurants, however, be prepared to spend a bit of money as things here aren't cheap! I highly recommend visiting Saigon Kingdom for Pho and checking out the pies at Fergbaker! The Luge at Skyline is also a super fun activity to do!

Visited 30 years ago. This beautiful gem has been destroyed by too many unhygienic tourist and extensive property development. A shame. Will not visit again. The Cabin I lived on 3 Johnson Place is highly recommended for a solo or young couple.

St. James apartments was Excellent. Private, Secure, Quiet and Clean. I stayed there for a month. Everyday was Perfact, you couldn't ask for a better accommodation. Queenstown, New Zealand is the Adventure Capital of the World. You go there to Play Adventure Sports. Your minutes away from the places that will take you to play those sports, and bring you back, sometimes to your staying location. My next monthly stay in Queenstown Will be there...I was very Satisfied...Mr. Beale

Absolutely loved it. Our air bnb had a great view.

Absolutely loved it. Our air bnb had a great view. So much to see even if you're not a snow sports person. Lots to do. Walter Peak is a good trip out and the tour to Milford sound. Fergburger is a must and so many good places to eat. Arrowtown is lovely and a short drive to Wanaka. Lots of Lord of the Rings areas to visit too We did the Shotover jet, so much fun and the Onsen pools. With the pools though if you are older and have issues with steep steep hills maybe pick a different place

Wonderful stay at the Central Private Hotel. The room was large and comfortable, the bed was very nice and the bathroom facilities clean and modern. The hotel is very aesthetic, and does a nice happy hour with free drinks and snacks from 4-6pm giving it a boutique feel. Located very close to central Queenstown.
