Max and Anna who run this property were amazing - great garden space - the restaurant was really great - amazing evening menu - but most of all Max helped me get to town in the morning when my bike spat the dummy and needed some care from the local mechanic - they went above and beyond and I’m forever grateful

The layout of the property was perfect for us. Although we prefer a shower, the shower over bath was fine and if we had children we'd be very happy to see the bath. It was easy to prepare a meal in the kitchen. The sofa was very comfortable. The gardens were a credit to the manager, Christine. Christine was friendly and helpful.

We overnighted here at the start of the Clutha Gold Cycle Trail Ride. It is a great loaction close to the centre of town and the trail. Its a lovely motel with spacious rooms.

Even though the house would be classified as older it was immaculately presented. As you can imagine how cold it is in Roxburgh in the middle of winter, we were met by a nice warm house, as the owners had turned the air conditioner on for us. The fire place was all set up with kindling, wood and fire lighters, so once we started that, there was no need for the air conditioner. The house was stocked with all the necessities for cooking as well as condiments such as salt, pepper, sugar etc. The coffee machine was a big hit. The bedrooms were large and the beds super comfortable and warm. The shower was large and had awesome pressure, plus shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Congratulations to the owners in presenting an excellent place to stay and if we ever come back to the area, we would always stay at this location. Lastly the location of the house was one street back from the main road , so it was super quiet, no traffic noise.

The place felt pretty new and was very tidy and clean. The kitchen was very complete. Everything you could think of was there. We didn’t meet the owners but before arrival we received a very clear message about how to enter the house. Would really recommend going here!
