A lovely homestay in the heart of Cuispes. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here as well. Hot shower, comfy bed and wifi. They helped us get to the waterfalls as well. It's more remote than most towns, so you need to try and plan ahead a bit, like what time you want to eat, what time you want to go somewhere etc. 10 soles per person in a mototaxi to get from Pedro Ruiz and 10 soles per person to get to the start of the waterfalls (don't walk, it's 5km, uphill on a dirt road).

I stayed for two nights at the hilltop cabin in Eco Albergue Azul, and I truly loved this place. The cabin offered an incredible sense of peace and quiet, far away from the noise and stress of the city. Waking up surrounded by nature and enjoying the calm atmosphere was a special experience for me. It was also a perfect base for visiting Yumbilla Falls, with easy access to the trail while still being able to relax in a tranquil environment afterward. I highly recommend Eco Albergue Azul to anyone looking for silence, beautiful views, and a connection with nature.

This place is amazing! The people are awesome; super friendly and welcoming, very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious, and different each day. The bed was comfy, the wifi worked perfectly, the shower was hot, and the view of the waterfall was awesome! Location perfect for a day-walk to the falls, and near to some pretty decent restaurants. Hummingbirds in the trees just off the balcony, really quiet, just a slice of bliss!

This hotel is incredible. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and attentive. The location is spectacular. We loved the pool and the bar, the food was excellent. The walking tours to Gocta falls and the hummingbird sanctuary which the hotel organised were great, they even provide a packed lunch. The town of Cocachimba is small but we really liked it! Overall an amazing stay!

Great place to leave for Gocta in the morning, you can have the place completely to yourself if you leave early from here. A view to the waterfalls from the room and from the terrace and tiny humming birds flying around. And best of all Mario is a fantastic host and storyteller. Excellent value for money!
