The hot shower works and when we entered the room, the room smells refreshing. The aircon works fine. They have a warm and cool lights. Storage for things are okay. They have a water heater for coffee. The tv works fine too. The beds are comfy. The space in general is recommendable.

Staff uniformed ,polite and helpful . Booked it last minute ,my wife was giving a lecture locally so decided to book a room for the night even though we only live an hour away ,intended to have dinner out and see a film . Hadn't stayed here before ,but certainly will again ,it was a bargain price for two with breakfast 2,300 pesos . Room was excellent ,large very clean fridge walk in shower ,TV coffee making facility , staff excellent,swimming pool a decent size and had all to myself . Decided in the end to have room service ,the food was excellent and plenty of it delivered hot within 15 minutes ,chop suey ,Chinese pancit Canton and sweet and sour pork recommended . Couldn't fault a thing ,breakfast was typical Filipino but it was very nice the best in the area at a hotel I've had ,as an ex pat (UK) would love a full English breakfast but can't have everything lol. Normally go to the almont inland resort down the road ,but it will be a close thing in future ,I highly recommend this hotel ,If there was one issue and it's being very picky ,our view from the window was air con units and roofs ,but who sits in there hotel room staring out of the window ?

I booked a twin bed. The room is very nice, clean, and tidy. The hotel has good air conditioning, the staff is very genuinely accommodating, and the hotel itself is within the mall. And for the food, you can also book a breakfast meal within the hotel or just grab some food within the mall since it is optional.

Quiet, Clean, Good Value. Easy access to SM mall though pathway is about 20 meters of narrow step stone brick path between shack and fence (typical for the PI and only for the able bodied). Room opens to a hallway so minimal natural light. Hotel is located on a back dead end street so absolutely no traffic noise. Room is clean, bedding is excellent. Cold air conditioning. Good refrigerator.

    Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down...

    Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down to Pantukan wanted to break up the long drive south ! Butuan was a very busy city and lots of traffic. smog was bad due to the heat and high volume if traffic .We only visited the mall which was like every other mall ! We went to a pizza restaurant looking for alternative and guess what they only had pizza available everything else was off the menu ! But far play the pizza was awesome and very filling ! So 10/10 guys

    My hometown, Butuan City is now progressive compared when we left in 1983.It has now big malls like SM and Robinsons; many hotels are also mushrooming and there are a lot of fast food chains and local restaurants offering good food. Places to visit-Butuan Museum /Balanghai

    Staying at the Grand Palace was made and later seen as best place to stay. The accommodations are big rooms with cold air con on high. Yes the single room is just that and not much extra. The bigger rooms are a little more for so much more room. The whole set up works great. Then know, there are no food stop’s anywhere near by. The Gaisono and SM are a good walk, or if too sweaty a day, take tricycles there. Food galore. Taxis play the main streets and tricycles take the local back streets. Many one or other not allowed to go. Downtown has all needed as the Hotel, malls, and official places need to go. Being in remote places here it is a great relief to go.

    Typical of a small Filipino city.

    Typical of a small Filipino city. Two very good malls, Robinson's and SM with SM being new and having lots of choices of eating places. Robinson's lost a few restaurants because of covid and some never reopened so a few empty places. Traffic is OK but the drivers are sometimes not considerate of other drivers but I guess that's typical of any city They keep the tricycles away from the malls so that is a good thing as they can be very annoying to other drivers. . Didn't venture out to see any sights as our stay was short but I guess there are places to visit if you are so inclined.

    A lot of places to explore for Cultural Heritage, fun, and shopping. It is also near Siargao and the tourist destinations in Surigao del Sur. A perfect gateway to the Caraga Region. The tourism information office at the airport and other locations in the city are helpful. Taxis are abound to bring you to your destination within the city proper.

    Excellent staff, really polite and helpful. Rooms were cool enough. Swimming pool was very nice. The hotel is an excellent venue for a wedding. Without question the best hotel in Butuan City. The attached restaurant catered my wedding and did a great job. They have quite an extensive menu for casual dining. ATM and shop very close by + coffee shop and cake shop. Security staff were also excellent (diligent). The hotel is less than 10 minutes by taxi from either Robinson's mall or SM Mall.
