Hotel Conde de Águeda is located in the historical centre of Águeda, offering magnificent views over the mountains. It features free Wi-Fi and cosy, contemporary rooms. Large comfortable quiet room, friendly personnel, good location in town centre, free big garage which is an enormous advantage. Good price quality ratio
XPT Águeda - Alojamento Local is located in Águeda’s historic centre, 19 km from Aveiro and 40 km from Coimbra. The property offers free WiFi access. I loved its location. We are on the Camino to Santiago and this was perfect for us. We were right in the centre of town. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to sights. Great place. Very uplifting
Boasting a spa bath, Bloco 3 Agueda is situated in Águeda. The air-conditioned accommodation is 43 km from Lagoa. Easy access to where we needed to go, parking was available, very clean and neat, it has all utilities as you would have at home, we didn’t need anything more, owner was very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again
Boasting a garden and a terrace, Bamboo Guest House is situated in Águeda. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. We couldn't wish for more cousy and lovely place than the Bamboo house after our all-day hiking in Lousã. It was perfect closure for the day! And it has great value! It has fully equipped kitchen with any basic stuff you need to cook a proper dinner. There is LIDL literally couple mins away! And we had the cuttest visitors - two little neighbour teenage kittens! There is enough privacy because of the bamboos all around the house! Don't get stressy and confused about the self check-in thing. The only suggestion for everyone is - don't forget to pick up some oranges and wine, because they have manual orange juice press and nice little terrace!
Centrally located in Agueda, this cosy hotel offers great-value accommodation with free wireless internet access and free parking. Residencial Celeste is a cute small hotel with a lovable service. Any time i will come back to Agueda, Celeste is the place i want to stay. Just perfect.
The city is very close to Porto and is worth seeing from July till September when the city is decorated due to Street Art festival. The oficial festival lasts 3 weeks ( July) which includes concets and other entertainings, concerts are free to visist. Till September people can enjoy the decorations. Not many places to stay at, so during the festival time it’s better to book something in advance.
This town has really gotten their municipal fathers behind a vibrant art scene. The avant garde decoration around the town must be seen to be believed. Whole streets with colourful suspended umbrellas. A bird impression covering the entire side of a building, sculpture everywhere. Loved it.
Lots to see during July. Agueda has an art festival going on. The streets are lined with umbrellas, there's live music and Portuguese food trucks and stands. It would take us just minutes to walk to town from our room.
We use it regularly for an overnight stay when travelling for the Algarve to the Douro. Food in the area is good especially chanfana which is one of the specialities of the area. Also for railway enthusiasts it is close to the Val de Vouga. Near to Aveiro which is well worth a visit, but parking is a nightmare.
Agueda is a very lively, bright and colourful town set on the pretty banks of with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. Churrasqueira O Gordo in the centre of the town on Rua Dr. Adolfo Portela served us an absolutely fabulous meals for an even better price. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. And the town itself is a delight.
Small Portuguese town. Setting rural. Lots to do in the vacinity. Guided tours available for those who wsh both in the town and surrounding area. Local cuisine excellent ,but number of restaurants somewhat limited.
Was easy to find and parking. was easy to get in to with plenty of room and direct access to reception . Friendly helpful staff . Right on the edge of the main streets - walking streets . Never heard any noise so must be well sound proofed . Really nice breakfast in lovely location of hotel - looking over town with a terrace . Lady serving at breakfast was a wonderful lady and most helpful .
This was my second stay here. XPT is a wonderful small hotel. Great design and character, fantastic location, solar panels on the roof, such a warm welcome and Tiago could not be more helpful. Amazing value for money!!
The owner and the staff of the hotel were really good! Exceeded service. Packed our breakfast for us as we were setting out early at 6am. Good location as it was on the exact route on the Camino.
Hotel located close to the Camino path and in a perfect location to see the umbrellas in the streets. Comfortable bunk beds with curtains for privacy and adequate breakfast.
Very nice hotel with a very helpful staff. The breakfast had nearly everything you could ask for. The room was very luxurious. I definitely would stay here again.
It was an ok hotel
