Very nice, comfortable and cosy flat. What makes it perfect is the staff, from the owner Ami (who could teach hospitality to everyone) to Ilidia, who is sweet, loving and helpful. The rest is done by the total silence, for those seeking relaxation, fruit trees and aromatic herbs, for scents and flavours and a starry sky, when the weather is clear, which can be seen in few places in the world. Great little place. The rooms are very large, well decorated, with a large bathroom and balcony. They provided some nice touches including cookies and coffee. The place is quiet, just in the outskirts of Penacova. There are a few coffee shops nearby, proper restaurants are around 2 Km away. The host was amazing, very friendly, and allowed to store bicycles in the garage downstairs.

Beautiful cottage with a wonderful view. We got the double room in the house with private bathroom (not ensuite, but we didn’t mind). The room is tastefully decorated and even though it’s not big the space is well utilized. The bed is bigger than what it looks like on the photos. There’s also a nice balcony and air conditioning. Maria, the host, is a lovely sweet woman who gave us many good tips in the area. Be sure to go the Al Medas and O Burgo restaurants!
