There are three levels in this apartment - two with bedrooms and toilets and one with kitchen and sofa. Everything was very comfortable. We wished we stayed here at least two nights not only for the condition of the apartment but also because there are a lot of things to see not far away from Nisa. The town itself was also very interesting.

loved my stay of 10 days and cannot recommend the accommodation enough Lovely house at the edge of a classic small village with beautiful walks from the front door. The house was very nicely decorated with a new kitchen, well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook for a family including quality oven, fridge, large freezer, microwave and lots of pots and pans. The lounge had a large modern screen and good internet. There was a washing machine and good shower in the bathroom. The owner was great with a nothing is too much attitude, available to help with anything and keeping a respectful distance the rest if the time. There are dozens of really good walks in the surrounding area and the natural park is easily accessible. 5*!!!

This is a charming rustic self catering style apartment with many thoughtful touches such as a selection of pens on the desk. It was very clean and well laid out with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I would say that it goes way beyond the facilities that are on offer at any good hotel. It is very central which is a bonus. The owner, José is a charming and very helpful man. Many people have complained about the church bells which of course the owner can do nothing about. They did not bother me much as I live in a village with a church. There are two churches within spitting distance of the accommodation. The bells strike on the quarter hour which is unusual. Sadly the bells are not synchronised so one is exposed to a double set. You soon get used to it and it is better than trying to find your phone to look at the time.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The area is nice is beautiful. Big, spacious and clean room. Comfy beds. Beautiful pool area. New and modern facilities. Free parking! We stayed there for one night on our way to Spain but we would like to comeback for a longer stay!

The breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is varied and reasonably priced. The small town is quiet with good restaurants and easy access to local towns and Portalegre.

I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.
