This is a great hotel. Eveything very fresh and new and the rooms are wonderful. Parking of the car was easy outside and if you want they also have a garage for Eur 10.- which is ok. Breakfast was absolut top and staff very friendly.

The hotel is made for kids, if that's the mentality you have to have when you go there, it's for them. My kid loved it. She said "most hotels are almost all for adults and just a bit for kids, this one is almost all for us and just a bit for adults". That's it. It's isolated, it's in a huge property that you don't see anything else other than fields and another hotel in the horizon, if you want to go somewhere you have to drive out, so it's a place to stay in theory. It has activities every hour for kids from 9am to 9pm roughly, some for older, some for younger ones but there is always something for them to do. It has the standard I expect from the the Vila Galé Hotels. Great facilities, staff and food. I never give a 10 on anything because I don't believe in perfection but for this one I will open an exception

I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but for the blend of genuine staff warmth, quaintness, value for money, comfy bed and character, I'd have to put this one up near the top. Its location right in the cobblestoned centre of Beja just adds to the allure. If you are staying in Beja, itself a very nice little town, don't look any further.
