Room & bathroom were clean and tidy. Bed is comfortable. Room size is small especially if there are two people with luggage. Staff is very friendly and kind. There is car parking garage in the back of the building. Ocean and sidewalk is just next to the hotel, with close by restaurants, cafes & supermarket. Location is good close to many attractions in the island and 15 minutes drive to the airport.
this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for...
this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for that matter, if you had to walk so a car is a necessity, and although the hotel had amenities like restaurant (only open for breakfast with the same breakfast every day) and vending machines (which if you could find a working one was empty( best piece of advise is find a grocery store, the island living is the best but it does take some getting used to if your from North America.

Incredible volcanic scenery.
Stunning location.
Incredible volcanic scenery.
Wonderful wildlife.
Great bars and eateries up the hill in Agua do Pau.
Speeding Traffic in the area a major problem.
Roads very dangerous, particularly after dark.
Illicit drugs openly available close by if that's your thing, probably contributing to the road safety issues.
