This historic building and surrounding area are beautiful and enchanting. The place is full of history and period furnishings are appropriate to its charm. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. I only stayed here one night , not long enough to appreciate my surroundings and spend time listening to the stories offered by the owners. I will definitely be back .It is definitely ideal for a base for anyone exploring the area.

We were met at the door and shown the property by one of the super friendly and helpful hosts. We have stayed in a wide variety of properties all over Portugal and this was by far one of the best. The house has everything you could possibly imagine, we give it an easy 5 stars. The location is very close to the castle and Medieval village. We highly recommend this property. Look forward to staying again in the near future.
