The room where we stayed was spacious, comfortable, with good light to work at night and very nice sun light during the day. It was a very silent and quiet place! No one was using the other room (that is also for rent), so we don't know about the noise that can/cannot be heard when there is someone else in the house. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could need, from coffee and salt (even pasta tat we cooked for dinner!) and all the equipment we could possibly need. Mr. Dinis was so nice, so thoughtful and so welcoming! The bed was 5 stars, the shower had very good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. Everything was spotless clean. There isn't a single bad thing to point. Lovely!

We could find everything we needed in the room for a short stay. Nice territory, there is a pool, every detail is thought out in the room and outside. This place felt welcoming. We also really liked the yard area with the tables outside, perfect for a family dinner.

Very nice appartment in small village. There are no tourist here. Always cool inside in spite of the heat. The airco is huge. The bed is good. We really liked it here. We made some walks to other villages. There is not a lot to do, but that also means a more portugese experience.

Nuno the host provided alot of helpful information, even before we arrived and he and his family were there to greet us. They are all delightful and especially Nuno's mum who had made a cake, there was also homemade goats cheese and jam. The house was Nuno's grandmother's - it is obviously very much loved and has been beautifully restored and decorated . Staying here means entering into another world of a village community, where there are goats, the sound of their bells and people working the land. There are alot of walking tracks close by and river swimming a short drive away. Seeing kingfishers streak past whilst I swam in the river was magical. Having a washing machine was useful and the wood burning stove made it very cosy. Everything you need is there and the family will do their best to help you have a wonderful stay.
